Major update - in my exhausted rush of doing all these videos, I completely misinterpreted Jesmon GX. I honestly thought it was a BLAST DNA option but it's actually your normal blast evo from any level 6. Apologies on that. It does have the capability to DNA digivolve which means you could just have one level 6 and not necessarily the other in hand. 'Apologies about that. My baby girl has been born!
Correct me if I’m wrong Panda but isn’t Jesmon GX ace only a normal Blast evolve?? It doesn’t say Blast DNA. The color restriction is only to Red or black. The only time it would evolve with the names is by DNA.
You are correct. In my haste writing these videos I assumed it was blast DNA. That’s a blunder on my part. Thanks for the catch. I produced 7 videos this weekend before the hospital visit and mistakes were going to be made.
A lot of people say the new support is bad because it doesn't really do much to fix the already existing problems the deck has but the way I see it, it's more so that the support offers more defensive and utility niches while also setting up a very explosive combo with the BaoHuck and Gankoo. From BaoHuck, you can play new Gankoo for 6 (2 less from BaoHuck and 4 less from his own effect), then go into Savior for free to pop and then end of turn evolve into Jesmon for a token, another pop effect and then a swing with Alliance. And that's ofc not factoring in the potential if you have the X Antibody option in the stack to theoretically go into Jesmon X Antibody on top of all that. Ofc yes that is a rather specific combo at the end of the day but given you can climb all the way into 2 level 6 bodies in one turn for a max memory cost of 8 and the fact that you only need enough memory to play a promoted Rookie into Bao to get it off the ground and end up with a nice beefy attacker, 2 deletions, as well as 2 blockers with Gankoo and the Token with Reboot on them as well? Sign me up.
That's interesting that people are immediately jumping to the new support being bad. I think if you're mixing it with as many old support cards and focusing on playing Sistermon tokens - I think the consistency is vastly different. The new support seems to avoid this and leans more into it's own line and support the blast evo. At the same time, if Bandai were to truely, TRUELY boost old Jesmon support, making the Sistermon's dual color would already significantly fix it.
@@DIGI-PANDA Yeah at the end of the day it kind of boils down to a general problem I've seen in some deck discussion spaces where when a company makes support to a theme that offers different utilities and at times may alter the established playstyle, people tend to be reluctant to change how they have always associated the deck to function or at times outright say the support is bad because it doesn't actually support that old style of play. Some cases are fair to be upset over like how Three Musketeers got their entire gimmick reworked from 7 cost options to being the 6 cost ones with the Trait that doesn't mesh well with any of the previous support but others just come across to me at least as of people are just upset they didn't get what they assumed the cards would do for the deck and are told instead to adapt. One case I can recall during BT20 reveals that upset some was the Examon wave and how some were not happy with the approach chosen for the deck and while I do agree the shift to Red should have been handled a bit better overall, it's not enough imo to completely disregard the whole line.
I think there are 3 ways to build the deck now. One that focuses on the gx ace, old gx otk, and more standard build that techs GXes. No verdict on which one is best but tbh it would probably be format dependent anyway. Personally I think game designers want this game to be somewhat otk based, and there are various ways to do that, so I think any form of jesmon otk is best
I believe Jesmon now will have two main ways to build the deck: DNA with Gankoomon or more Jesmon/Sister centered. The new Ace is a very powerful card in a DNA deck, but card balance will be hard with so many lv.6 that you want to put in, although is true that the new Gankoomon works more like a hard cast lv.5 since you want to use it when you have the new Baohuckmon on play. I think this new DNA deck will use little amount of sistermons, maybe just 4 or 5 beetween counting both blanc and ciel. New Gankoomon X-Antibody wil work very good to replace Magnamon X-Antibody in the old deck.
@ I picked up a copy of the Japanese BT06 alt art featuring Noir for my birthday this last year. Set me back $60… for a BT6 card! And that was on the cheap end!!! I really wish Bandai would get over their weird Noir fear so that all three of the Sisters can be together in a language other than Japanese
@DIGI-PANDA I have a strange feeling that if they don't put restrictions on what those could digivolve into, there would be mess of random combo's to try and optimize sistermons in decks that aren't royal knight related.
These are pretty good. If anything is dropped, I’d say it’s Blanc since Gankoo is working like a lot of those cards and that Ciel awakened is too good to pass up. Besides; Blanc has her own deck now as puppet rush. It’ll be interesting to see which cards stay in Jes/Gankoo and which go into the royal knights.
I don't see Blanc being as needed anymore. I definitely see the Sistermon Ciel's being maybe the 4-6 or even 8 copies. But I haven't tested yet to really have an opinion.
To be honest, the new GX is more for the Royal Knights It's a guaranteed [Deletion], you are not punished by Drasil's Overflow and when it enters the field due to the effect of Omnimon, it is a guaranteed Security Trash Making your victory range within 2 Security of the Opponent if you only have Omnimon and the new GX
I could also see that! I do like that a lot of the new ACE digimon can really take advantage of not overflowing until the end game because of the fact that your breeding is safe.

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW BABY!!! 🥰
I love this I cant wait for my jesmon deck getting an upgrade
So many ways to play the deck!
@ Ooof okay awesome you gonna post a video for a few way to play the deck :) I cant wait to see it
@ Absolutely! I'm going to probably print proxies or start looking at various builds with other Jesmon players.
@ Alright awesome sounds like a plan tbh.
Finally we can make the tokens ! WE ARE SO BACK!
Pure Jesmon let's go! Less Sistermons needed.

Gratz on the newborn!
Thank you so much! She's resting peacefully right now. She's getting used to her new home.
Can we PLEASE get some gankoomon support that isnt jesmon support.
Unlikely to ever happen unfortunately. Craniamon isn't even recognized as it's own digivolution line at this point.
Turn 2 Gankoo and Jesmon on board for about 8 memory without any boosts, and threatening ACE seems pretty good. I cant wait to play test it
As wrong as I was about blast DNA, having both options out adds to hilarious interactions.

I think by also creating a new variant that's not Sistermon reliant, it also helps with dealing with the consistency issues. At least for now.
@@DIGI-PANDA yeah I think it most builds you just play the newer stuff at higher counts so you don’t need the sisters

Definitely agree! And you can tuck and mess with other Royal Knight variants as well. Well.. at least the ones that mesh with the color.
I’m just happy we’re getting more Sistermon cards
I demand Noir for the English release.

Technically, Sistermon Ciel awakened is stronger in the censored version because there's more options
Would've been funny if we got dual colored Sistermons, but blanc stays white, ciel goes blue and noir makes its debut and is black. XD

To this day I sometimes wonder if we'll get something akin to "Lost Art Cards" from Digimon, given that we don't have Noir.
That'd be interesting to see! I could see them also reprinting other cards with old arts from like Hyper Colosseum.
It is interesting for Jesmon to get support, though I am vurious if soem of the cards can be used in a Royal Knights deck.
Most, if not all the royal knight cards presented in this set will likely go into a Royal Knight deck. New effects. New everything!
These are pretty good.

@ that’s fair. I think it’s just some stuff I’ve seen popping around on the forums.
Newborn hype!
Time to protect all the cards XD
Among all new deck in the set, im afraid to vs with Jesmon GX deck 😥
I think the consistency is improved now because this seems to not be as reliant on Sistermons.
Jesmon GX Ace is going in my Magna X deck.
It's actually a great way to clear bodies and tuck additional Magnamon Xs or even Magnamon to make more damage.
You are FATHER now!
Napping when I can! Ha ha. The next video will be worked on tonight.
father being father
I'm a father!
Why are you waiting until I go back to work to post videos again?
I made so many videos this weekend >.< The baby is due tomorrow XD
