A lot of people feel pressured to live up to how society wants them to live, which is one negative aspect of social media. It doesnt matter what other people think of you because your identity is found in Jesus. When it says people are trying to find the next hype because the high never lasts and cheap thrills are only time wasted is also important to understand. So many people try to find joy and fulfillment drugs, alcohol. Even things that aren't so destructive like sports can also lead you to feel empty. Playing sports do have a lot of good aspects to them, but it can be a problem If you think your identity is based upon how good of a football player your are. True fulfillment is found in Jesus, and putting your identity in something other than Jesus leads you to feeling empty and wanting more. I found it funny how they used my name in this song because my name is also Dylan. Lol
