This band is a great club band. I saw them twice in SC back in 1990 and they rocked the house down. DZ was great in person and no video does them justice. One thing is for sure, they knew all of the licks and played them extremely well. You would be laughing and rockin' at the same time. I've never seen another band like them since.

They played a club on the south side of the University of Arizona campus on a regular basis starting in the late 80's. Saw them go from having a small crowds to very large crowds as the CDs took off. It was a always GREAT show - extremely talented musicians, great music and fun! Everybody had a good time at a Dread Zeppelin concert.

I saw these guys at the Empire Ballroom in Cleveland in 1990. By far the best "show" I've ever seen. These guys were one of the most inventive novelty acts around, knew it, played right into it instead of acting serious, the musicianship was incredible, and just the fun they had doing what they did made it a great show. I also remember reading somewhere that Robert Plant and Jimmy Page loved these guys, said most of Led's music was based on reggae anyway.
I've been to a million concerts and I'll never forget this one. Thanks Dread Zeppelin!

I've always wondered, do these folks just walk around with fruit in their pants expecting something to take a turn? Was there a guy sitting next to me at the Norah Jones concert last year with a sack full of apples just waiting for her to screw up the lyrics to "Don't Know Why" so he could pelt her in the head? Or maybe they were walking home from the grocery store, saw a marquee and stopped in to inquire about last minute tickets? I've also wondered what they do with the fruit if things go well. Are there trashcans full of bananas at the end of Red Hot Chili concerts that didn't go poorly? Could we somehow feed hungry people by putting out bins at concerts? And then there are those that throw rotten cabbages. Seriously, what's the proper receptacle for carrying a rotten cabbage into a concert hall? Where did they get a rotten cabbage? Are they trolling the dumpsters at Kroger? And can you imagine how conflicted you would feel if you showed up to a concert with rotten cabbages and Hannah Montana hit every note perfectly? I can just see someone doing the Charlie Brown walk out of the Staples Center with a rotten cabbage in each hand.

I saw this band at the House of Blues in 1998 in the French Quarters, New Orleans. They put on quite an entertaining show!

My uncle has a Dread Zep shirt. I asked him if he saw them. He told me that opened for them with his band!

My music guru sent me here. I am an old metalhead/ punk with an Elivs 'TCB' tattoo just above my Wu Tang Clan tattoo. I am home.

I saw this! But what late night show was it from...? I have Un-Led-Ed (like anybody who'd be looking at this) and have loved these guys (and LED ZEP and ELVIS) for a long time.

    YAh-ah, Hah, Hah!!!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow
    The hammer of the gods
W'e'll drive our ships to new lands
To fight the horde, and sing and cry
    Valhalla, I am coming!
