Your one of the best Australian artist. I love the modern aspect that your design gives with its brilliance of colour in a natural composition of this Australian landscape.
I not a fan of abstract art but Ken knows how to use it with fantastic effect. He is absolutely correct in letting a picture tell a story and this is what make his paintings fascinating to look at, It is candy to the eye, now I'm a fan of abstract art..
Just flipped into this video . I had no idea that I would be watching a Master Class from this man. Plein air painting is my joy, and this composition (size, color, balance ) reveals what a master he is. Do you have a book of your work ?.
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any help you can offer me
@Aaron August Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Since discovering Ken Knight and his style of painting, which Ken executes in world class fashion, I have been inspired to get back into it once more. Slap it on and spread it around! A question. Would it be feasible to block in all the darks with 'acrylic' to stop things becoming too messy? Then finish the job with oils. Might give it a go!
I think that Mr. Knight is quite amazing. There's a terrific energy and laying on of the paint. There's many beautiful things that he captured including the sense of atmospheric perspective going back into the distance to the left of center of the painting. He's an inspiration and I saw his paintings of Antarctica which are very beautiful. However, that said, the large tree just beyond the foreground bothers me...the shapes (4) are all very similar and in places hard edged. If you look at the lower part of the trees there are indications of branches which he brought out with paint and by using the end of his brush to reveal the lighter tones underneath. I feel that maybe he should've put some indications of branches - just suggesting them - going into the top shapes of the trees. I could be wrong, but it strikes me as too harsh and the same. But, his energy and color are admirable and certainly impressive. Thanks.

Hi Ken bought your dvds absolutely great, thanks for the signing the pastures one too. Hey can I ask - is there any flex in that palette knife scraper or is it completely rigid?! Cheers mate all the best, Rob
Hi Robyn,There is no flex in the "scraper" at all.You can find them in a hardware store. After continued use they get as sharp as a razor blade,so that is something to be aware of. I am glad that you liked the DVDs. Cheers.Ken

los dvd que comentas compraste están también en idioma español? si fuera así dónde los adquiriste?
Do you teach workshops? If yes, Southwestern, IL?
der mann ist gut👍
Круто!
I want to become an artist as you dear
Are you using plain thinner on yourpaints?
Medium?
hope you dont use zinc white!
It must take a long time to dry with so much thinners. just saying. great art.
I fell off my chair
Is this supposed to be abstract? Otherwise it makes no sense to me. It evokes nothing in me 😳🤪
