Another annoying thing people say is dinosaur that lives underwater like a mosasaurus, but the annoying part is that there’s literally no dinosaurs that lives underwater. They’re just lizards.
the term "raptor" probably came from the fact that we often shorten a lot of animal names. The hippopotamus is often called "hippo", etc. Someoen might say "there's a bear", or "there's a dog" instead of "there's a polar bear" or "there's a great dane".
My mother bought me a dinosaur poster for my birthday. It has Brontosaurus (the huge paleo mistake) and INDOMINUS REX. Yeah, the fictional hybrid dinosaur that apparently lived in the Jurassic period.
In fact, Albertosaurus or Gorgosaurus could be called a “T-rex with horns”; they are its relatives, inferior to it in size, since they lived in a colder climate.

"Calling Plesiosaurs and pterosaurs dinosaurs is the most annoying thing i can hear" Imo calling Mosasaurus that is worse. Unlike the other cases whic, while reptiles, don't fit nicely with modern "crocodiles, turtles, lizards, snakes", Mosasaurus was quite literally a marine lizard.
“Flying dinosaurs” “Pteradactyl” “T-Rex” “Pronouncing Giganotosaurus. With the ‘guh’ sound” “Iguana is a dinosaur” “T-Rex is the biggest” ALL OF THESE KILL ME

Technically, there are 3 male Rexes in Jurassic Park so far: the adult male from lost world, the infant and the green Rex from jp3, unless you meant only one male still alive but we don't know the infant's status yet.
3:15 that is the equivalent of telling someone "do you know cats?" While not explaining what kind of cat they mean? It could be lion, serval or a normal house cat. Saying do you know what a raptor is is such a nondescript question unless the person meant the whole group of animals in general.

Memenchisaurus
Isisaurus
Sonorasaurus
Rapetosaurus
Futalongkasasaurus (i have no idea how to spell this.)
Vulcanodon
Lessemsaurus
Ampelosaurus
“Dimetrodon is a dinosaur”
The fact that it is more closely related to a elephant, human, rats, hedgehogs, and mammals as a whole then like, spinosaurus or something
People are stereotyping dinosaurs
When someone says they like Carnotaurus, they go up in my estimation.
Legit was called childish for liking Dinosaurs when they seriously enjoyed watching skibidi toilet 💀
My friends think about ceratopcians as big goats
I said that when I was a kid😂 0:08 I’ll never forget it 😂
It's annoying when people say my birds are dinosaurs, i have budgies, a finch, a sparrow, and a dove, just compare those birds with a T-Rex, or all sorts of raptors, sure you can compare vultures or eagles, but a budgie or a dove REALLY?!?!?!!!!
(Please note this is only a joke, since we're talking about dinosaurs)
Where is the joke? Birds are dinosaurs.
@tjarkschweizer the joke lies in:
It looks like they can't be related, obviously i know they are related!
I personally hate it when people say dinosaurs would look lame/silly if they had feathers.
One thing I hate is when **SOME** people think all dinosaurs are *birds*
Another annoying thing people say is dinosaur that lives underwater like a mosasaurus, but the annoying part is that there’s literally no dinosaurs that lives underwater. They’re just lizards.
Bro i can’t wait for your channel to grow and fluctuate. Keep up the good work!
It’s annoying when people say “yutyranus is another word for t-Rex”
People say that?!
the term "raptor" probably came from the fact that we often shorten a lot of animal names.
I hate it when they confuse any thing that looks like a red as a rex
*All Dino's lived at the same time* DRIVES ME CRAZY
In fact, Albertosaurus or Gorgosaurus could be called a “T-rex with horns”; they are its relatives, inferior to it in size, since they lived in a colder climate.
Same with daspletosaurus, maybe not the “with horns” part as much, but 100% the “T. rex but small”
Wait what did you say?
@@ryannguyen2116 Well, they really occupied the same place in their food chain as the T-rex did in theirs. And they most likely had horns, bruh.
therizinosaurus a large plant eating theropod with large claws as defence and which helps them eating which comes from it's name 'scythe lizard'
people ; proceeds to call it a herbivore t rex
Some dumbasses thought that Dino was a carnivore
Great first video! I always hate when people call Machairodonts 'saber-toothed tigers.' They aren't tigers! They're big cats, but they aren't Big Cats!
I know right, they were an entirely distinct sub-family of cats
Well idk if the public is at fault that’s like saying people in North Korea are stupid because they believe Kim jong un is a good man they’ve been told something and never or hardly ever been told it’s wrong so how should they know
The worst thing is when they say the word "Dragon" 😭
Could someone please tell me how in this 13.8 billion year old universe my video about annoying dinosaur statements did so well (genuinely curious)?
Two reasons:
- Dinosaur
- Quality Content
The algorithm guy found it cool.
@ThatPotat0ツ Thanks
@Sucukbeyin Yeah
@@ThePaleo And also it's your first video, so yeah.
You just earned another subscriber. I liked your video it was very informative. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks
Your welcome
This is relatable lol, my low attention span brain can’t take the incorrect facts💀especially calling pterosaurs dinosaurs
One annoying thing is when people say spinosaurus can kill a T-Rex
"My favourite dinosaur is mosasaurus"
G-
As a time traveler, one of my pet peeves is when people say spinosaurus is a reptile when in reality it's a giant flying octopus. Seriously how did they mess up the reconstruction 🤦
You should totally write an article all about how we got dinosaurs so wrong 👍
@ThePaleo Totally will
its annoying when people say "water dinosaurs" or "water trex" like bro what?
Calling Plesiosaurs and pterosaurs dinosaurs is the most annoying thing i can hear
T rexes had feathers, Chickens are descendants of T rex, Spinosaurus is the largest theropod, Dinosaurs constantly hunted without a care in the world, Giganatosaurus pronounced *Jai-Gantosaurus* like theres so many annoying things to keep going on
these things are mostly said by the 8 year old jurrasic park kid timmy in the comment sections of dinosaur fights
"Calling Plesiosaurs and pterosaurs dinosaurs is the most annoying thing i can hear"
Imo calling Mosasaurus that is worse. Unlike the other cases whic, while reptiles, don't fit nicely with modern "crocodiles, turtles, lizards, snakes", Mosasaurus was quite literally a marine lizard.
Chickens are literally the closest living relative of the T-rex. The others I understand though.
“marsupial lions are t-rexs!”
“GET OUT-“
“Flying dinosaurs”
“Pteradactyl”
“T-Rex”
“Pronouncing Giganotosaurus. With the ‘guh’ sound”
“Iguana is a dinosaur”
“T-Rex is the biggest”
ALL OF THESE KILL ME
T-Rex is only bug because of its mass but still soropods are heavier
What's the issue with T-Rex? That it's a common short term for Tyrannosaurus Rex?
Well i figured Jig-a-Not-toe-saurus and Gig-guh-no-toe-saurus was like Tom-ato vs To-mato
@ it’s not, the correct pronunciation is Jig-a-Note-oh-sore-us
I thought it was the British vs American
Theres so many cool underrated dinosaurs that people just don't know about
Yeah, if only movies and other forms of dinosaur media showed more "lesser known" dinosaurs.
“ the t-rex solos queztal!!!11 “
*summons crucible*
When people think T.rex Tyrannosaurus rex is two completely different dinosaur
This happens far too much!
“Pterodactyl was a dinosaur” or “Mosasaurus was a Dinosaur” LIKE BRO NO, THEY AIN’T DINOSAURS
In Pixar's the good dinosaur I've heard people call the tree looking triceratops a styracosaurus Wich makes me a little angry.
How stupid a person needs to be to think a Pachyrhinosaurus is a Triceratops?
That's what I thought...
You should make a video talking about the dinosaurs in 65. I think the designs are absolutely hilarious. Also, nice video.
To be honest i don't know how some people don't find dinosaurs even slightly scary, like imagine seeing a 9 ton tyrannosaurus charging at you(granted probably charging slowly but still), and I know it isn't a dinosaur, but the quetzalcoatlus is horrifying
Don’t even get me STARTED on pterosaurs and marine reptiles. How many times I’ve had to explain that they aren’t dinosaurs. It’s actually insane.
I heard someone say Dreadnoughtusaurus 💀
This is a good channel, you deserve more subs
Thanks
I hear godzilla get called a dinosaur.
"All T. Rex's are male" people when they realize there's only one male rex in the entire jurassic park franchise
Saying do you know what a raptor is is such a nondescript question unless the person meant the whole group of animals in general.
dude, I honestly think you have great potential to start a TH-cam channel! I love how your not even trying to like force people to like and subscribe already. I mean this was a far better start to a channel than I had XD
Thanks. Yeah, I never expected to get almost 100 subs and 1.4K views from one video! Defiantly going to make more videos.
I mean when you don't know the name of it and just try to describe it is okay but when your too lazy to at least try this is when it gets annoying
Someone in my 8th grade class said dinosaurs and turtles might be related…
When people say pterosaurs were dinosaurs
By saying raptors they probably mean any/every raptor species or whatever
Missing the most annoying of them all: "dinosaurs never existed". This is one i hear more and more last time.
I hate when people say “look! It’s a Tylosaurus my favorite dinosaur!” It’s a plesiosaur not a dinosaur and I also hate when someone calls plesiosaurs underwater dinosaurs 💀
When people call them lizards.
“Water dinosaurs”
One thing that always annoyed me is when people think that mosasaurs or ichthyosaurs are dinosaurswhen they're actually marine reptiles
