Notice how when Marcus was praying for Mike and he said "Mike hardly had a life yet, no wife and no kids" It cut to Armando taking off his helmet and revealing his face, foreshadowing
And notice they used Mikes Academy photo for the news report cuz the Captain pulled him straight from the academy and put him on that case that yielded him that son. And on top of that the Captain saying “Mike is like a son to me.” It’s family full circle…
@@vgacxvi I think one of the things that annoyed me the most about this movie amongst many things was how Mike so easily forgave his son, and relinquish any wrong doing his son did. Despite his son not only trying to kill him, but successfully killing so many other innocent people. I get it he is your long lost son, but that is also a full grown adult who you don't know who up until a few days ago was a stranger and to top it off that man is a cold blooded murder
This was emotional for the captain because he recruited Mike straight out of the academy and put them into a very dangerous assignment. Alot of history there
First time watching this scene took me by huge surprise and brought tears. But i knew Mike would make it. They couldnt just kill off the series main character like that. But when the Captain got killed out of absolutely nowhere i cried in my heart so hard.
"Mike's like a son to me......I want this A..Hole." very personal and definitely understood. And when cap died his two sons definitely went to avenge cap! Like thier own real father who's always been there for them. Thats love brother from the bond they have!
When Marcus is praying for his safety and health, honestly is one of the best emotional scenes in the movie. Lucky Michael Bay didnt direct this, if not the results wont be as great as this

This movie and this scene was so good. I love how the girl in the blue shirt ran over to Mike sooo fast. Really shows how much she cared. I really hope they make a 4th movie.

The ironic part about this, is mike says to have a ambulance ready for marcus because he is going to need fluids and oxygen, yet he's the one who ends up needing it.
Can't imagine losing TWO of my best friends... they've been with me through everything... the good, the bad, the sun, the rain, the storm, the shadows, everything... you name it, they've always been there for me, there to put me in my place, all of it... every year, people put out resolutions... well... my resolution to spend every moment, every second, and every day to spend time with them, fuck around with them and always remember that even though one day they'll be gone...
