Thanks for making and producing this video!! I have no idea how or why it popped -up on my TH-cam feed, but I am so glad ya'll did!! My wife and I were just at Utica-Rome Speedway on Friday night July 1st (a 56th birthday present to myself) which was my very 1st time ever going to the races there,....and we had a great time! I know one of the families who race there, and I've been a NSACAR fan for over 25 years; have been to cup races at a number of NASCAR tracks; been to NASCAR HOA in Charlotte, and we live only 50 miles south of the COA (Austin TX) NASCAR road course down here in Texas. But until 3 weeks ago, I had never been to Utica-Rome as a kid or adolescent growing up who was born & raised in the area. Hard to believe I know.
Hang in there you will win again remember it's a damn emotional rollercoaster not to mention you have to work your butt off when you are having bad luck keep your head held high you guys are some of the best 👍
Rough night at the track. But, Mike knows as well as I, Utica-Rome will bite. And when it does, you’ll feel it. I adore this place, and am very fortunate to call it my “home track”, less than half an hour away from home. Been watching races there for almost 15 years. As much as I love places like Weedsport, Port Royal, and Williams Grove, there will always be a special place in my heart for Utica and the drivers like Mike who’ve turned so so many laps there. Nothing short of my childhood on the weekends. Thank you to all local racing teams like you who make Friday and Saturday nights so special.
Although frustrating, tell Mike & Team not to get discouraged. Every team goes through situations like this. With the hard work of Team 35, the tough luck shall pass. It shall!! I noticed Mike is Left Handed in the Honeymoon video when he shot the bow so I figured out why he likes to run the bottom. Use your right hand and listen to Mandee and run the top and use that Cushion. Ha. Only kidding Mike you are a Great and Smart Drive. Keep it up and get mean when needed.

Keep your heads up guys...this heat makes us all miserable and tired...and then a night like that doesn't help at all...I'm sorry luck has not been your forte since I started watching way back in the channels infancy...but I've become a huge Mahaney fan and love what you guys and driver especially show every week...patience, respect, immense talent, and respectful racing. You'll get your dues. Champion of Albany Saratoga with that level of competition every week says a lot and I don't believe you've earned you last championship by far. Much Respect...Better Luck Guys...Thank You for the great content !!!!

Nights like this are tough and make you tougher. Never surrender! It can be rough but sometimes it's better to take a breather and let someone else do the hard work so your fresh to drive.
Bringing bring another portable generator with you so that you have something that can charge everything up and run for 13 hours on one tank which is maybe 4 1/2 gallons I think it may be a champion or a harbor freight type that you can run 9300 W of power for like $999
Obviously the engine builder needs to do something because 3 times to them for same problem their either screwing you over or their not paying attention! If they don’t fix it this time I would be changing engine builders! I had an issue with my builder once in my drag car and he said it wasn’t his fault wiped out some bearings.
See that’s what I do Mandy I go up there and see where the lineup is in it my driver is racing and then I take a snap I’ve been doing it for Christ 10 years I’ve been doing that for 10 years so it’s just easier to save on space but you still have to do that I was the one that first started that and then now years later everybody does it now

SMH......shoulda bought a late model......last place at the Lucas race at the Silver dollar Nationals pays $5300 ...McCreadie made the switch....get out of the dinosaurs of racing.....last technical advance for those cars was 1981 when Balou/Weld came up with the aero body.....lol
