Awesome! You know what you do. I like the way you do the dies, this is a good idea. It's fine for Paralell pressing with a spacer. With a glance on our youth, i recognize a lack of interest on to the craftmanship. What you thinking about america, due to the Craftmanship.
Awesome job... very well thought out and very nice design! If you don't mind me asking... what size of drive are you using and I'm assuming you have the 3ph motor wired for 220v?
I'm a bit of a novice, so not sure from the listed specs, but is the pump a two-stage (two speed) pump then? I wonder if a single-stage gear pump will work well with a forge press or is it advised to have a two-stage pump? I'd like to build something similar. Great build. I like it a lot!
A 2 stage pumps at a higher flow rate until it hits the resistance and then goes to a lower flow rate. The only difference is on a two stage the ram will move faster when not under a load.
Really clean, professional work. No chit chat, just great work!
Thanks!
Looks great. I want to upgrade mine one day… mine won’t look like this though 😂
Lol love the bud light box shims 😂

Amazing build and fab quality. 👌 the speed though :(
Thanks
Great build. I really like the ram design and the clearance for working from the side. Any chance you'll offer the plans in a document for reference?
Thanks! There will be one soon.

Thank You very much! VFD is a 7.5kw, wired for 220v single ph input- 220v 3 phase output.
May I ask why you chose to rather raise the table instead of having the ram and die come down onto a static table?
I chose this design for a couple of reasons, low and compact in size , shorter hose lengths for the hydraulics.
Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho, acompanhei toda a construção, o motor da bomba é de quantos cavalos? e rpm?
Thank you!
Motor is 5 hp-running at 2800 rpm's
very nice
What sizes of materials did you use
Material sizes are in the first video. Thanks for the interest.

Thank You! I am using a single stage pump.

It seems like you need a higher gpm hydraulic pump. Your cylinder is just a little slow. Then again I cant really tell for sure just from the video.
Question. After it is all built and done, what was your total cost for this beast?
Total build 2K.
@@threeanvilforge5369 very nice! Great work. It looks amazing
Thank you very much!
