You can do it!:D Shopping for fabric/patterns/planning projects is definitely the most fun for me, lol. The actual cutting out/sewing takes time, I totally hear you!:) Your daughter looks so cute in her outfit!:) love the matching headband too:) Prayers!;)
I too am a slow sewer. A really cute dress for little girls is to get a T-shirt then gather 2 1/2 - 3 times the circumference measurement of the shirt hem X 1' wide fabric and attach it to the T shirt hem. Making 2 ruffles around the bottom is really cute too. Depending how tall your daughter is will determine how wide to make the ruffles. It's cute, a simple make and quick. I find JoAnn fabrics high priced too; I don't purchase unless I can use a coupon.
stack your fabric to cut out 3 of the same dresses at a time for your daughter :) For the multi color ones, you could stack and just rotate a bunch of fabrics around like we do for quilting when we stack and slash then put one color to the bottom, etc. How about mom and me jammies or sleep pants? Have fun! I miss sewing for little ones.
RubyLovesRocket Yes everything is going very well. As of this morning I’ve completed my challenge. Yayy Me!! My next video will display my last makes. Thank you for inquiring.
