Have just tried this look with my Reloaded anastasia renaissance dupe and I love it. Thank you so much. I'm cosmetically challenged and would never have thought to put a cool taupe with a warm gold. So pleased with how it turned out.

Great look Gemma! To my opinion all women should have a red lipstick and not just for Christmas. There is something very elegant and feminine about women with red lips that no matter the trends it will always be a must have, as long as you get your perfect tone. For me it's russian red by Mac 💋
I love revolution, being on a low income I can afford it. When it comes to dry skin I've been applying my foundation with a flat brush and going over it with a sponge x

@@FourJaysFour yes that is No good, agree on that. If you like a creme for exstremly sensitive skin that is rich and feels good on very dry skin or patches. Look to Ducray. I have Atopic exem and use this one called Dexyane Med. Dry skin gone the next day.
So I did a full holiday eye look for an evening party which was quite a lot more intense than usual, but then in pictures it looks quite ordinary. Maybe a tutorial on heavy to go for evening and pictures? Apparently I need to go more out of my comfort zone to get the dramatic eye.
Brilliant idea to stick the glitter shadow to your concealer! :D I'll have to remember that trick, I have such sensitive eyes that I rarely wear glittery eye makeup as I don't want to deal with fallout in my eyes. :-( I'm using my sponges more too. I think during the cold winter months, the bristles of my brushes lift the edges of my dry skin just enough to make it look more dry/dull. A dampened sponge works very well this time of year. :) I love the simple eyeshadow look you did here with a more dramatic eyeliner. Very effective and pretty. :)

I suffer from dry skin too and I found that the "Weleda Skin food" before makeup and before bedtime on top of your serums makes a difference.
Ginnie Mikkelsen Skin Food would be a lovely rich moisturizer except it's loaded with [botanical] fragrance.

NYX Daydream blush in the "glow" version is now my ultimate favourite blush... it's only taken me 41 years!... xXx
