Guys, I finally made a decision and bought the Gucci Diana in the small size in brown leather. I absolutely love this bag and think it is such a beautiful, classic piece to add to my collection. In the video I will unbox the bag with you and also explain why I ended up deciding on this bag and not a Celine or Chloé!

I just ordered this exact bag and have been looking up reviews on it- no one mentioned your dust bag hack to keep the bamboo from imprinting the leather! Thank you for that!! I actually came across a girl who had just purchased the vintage metallic bamboo that princess Diana was photographed with, and hers has the marks. So yeah- thanks for that!! I think you made the right choice. It’s a beautiful, classic bag. I am picking mine up from Gucci next week (same color, small size.) They now comes with 2 shoulder straps and the bands for the bamboo handles are actually little belts in a contrasting color. I love those matching pumps too! Thanks for sharing your story 🌹

@@LoAn981blackhawk oh I didn’t see your reply. I still have it, still love it. Wear on the bag is minimal but I keep it stuffed lightly and cover the bag with a dust bag to avoid indentation from the handles. I do also carry it carefully, which I think helped keep it in pristine condition (it’s not necessary to Baby the bag tho, it wears well)

Love the bag. I’m thinking of getting one for work. My Balenciaga classic city bag it looks too old already. Does the medium size fit a MacBook Pro 13”?
I love the bag as well and definitely still recommend it. Now regarding your MacBook I just checked the measurements and it would only fit upside down and you wouldn’t be able to carry the bag using the top handles. If you want to carry your MacBook in it, I would recommend the larger size and make sure to take it to the store and try it out.

I think so yes. You have to make sure that you put the straps on when storing the bag for an extended period of time but I’ve worn this bag a lot and there are no scratches or marks whatsoever. In general, I would say that this bag is my most high quality bag. It’s beautifully made and will last forever.
I have been considering this bag and this review convinced me! It's lovely. However, beware that if you carry the bamboo handle on your arm with the purse full, you can develop problems with the tendons in your arm. I learned this the hard way when I had a bamboo handbag from Bloomingdales and the daily use caused me to suffer for over a year after I stopped using it. For daily use I plan to hold it in my hand or use the strap. To make an entrance it will go on the arm like a handsome date. Lol.
This is excellent advice! Thank you. Tbh, I’ve been carrying the bag a lot with its strap and in my hands because otherwise I feel like it rubs on my body to much and I fear to cause damage that way. Enjoy your new bag, I still highly recommend it.
Does the bag scratch easily. I would love to buy this bag and use it daily! Scratches and scuffing scares me. I would use it with the straps. I wonder if the bamboo handles would scratch the leather when they are lying against the leather. Thanks so much!
It does not scratch easily but you have to be careful with the edges of it. The rubber/gloss (I’m. It sure what it is) is very soft and I have a small mark where it came off in one corner. I will talk about this in an upcoming video.

Hi you originally said you bought the medium size 4.45 but everything else says small. I’m ordering this online and I want the size and color you have. So this is the small Diana, right? Great video thanks
Hi there! I just checked the wording on the website to make sure and you are right. Mine is the “small”. I think I called it medium because it is the medium size of the three available ones. The color of the leather is called “brown” by Gucci. You’ll enjoy this bag, it’s perfect.

No they are taken off when the bag is worn. It is recommended that they are put on the bamboo when it is being stored for a longer period.
its real bamboo which has a tendency to warp over time. those straps are used for scaffolding.
Hi. Congrats on your gorgeous bag. I am considering getting this but worried about the wear and tear? Will the bamboo handles wear well over time? Is it suitable for day to day use?
I have the small. It looks roomy, but if you fill it up the strap will cut yr shoulder. If you use the bamboo handles, it may break them....so I only carry my wallet, phone n small makeup pouch with this. It's not for heavy duty use.
I do carry quite a bit in it but it’s definitely not a heavy duty bag at all. I actually managed to damage the rubber lining in a very small spot already. Not sure how it happened but it showed me that I have to be more careful with this bag.

The true camel colour from Celine is "Tan" I thought exactly the same when I saw that camel colour... It's definitely brown...
Indeed! And what I find so funny after the fact is that in the store they told me the tan wouldn’t come back and then 4 weeks later it was available again online. I’m pretty sure the new designer had to cave and bring it back because it was the main color the classic box was sold in. The fact that they didn’t have any price increases recently also speaks volumes. In any case, I’m done lol.
