It makes me happy to see the hounds having a good time on their walk. Wallace is shadowing Angus like he does and Millie is a slow poke as usual. That looks like a nice hiking trail. ♥
A terrific video of the gang shuffling and snuffling around the park. I'm not surprised that Millie is the boss as she tends to adopt a more supervisory role.
I strongly urge you to be very careful about letting the hounds wander off into the brush. It doesn't take much for a Basset to revert to its wild form, and if that were to happen, it's doubtful either you or A Jr. would make it home in one piece.
I *so* miss walking my sweet angel who was 'put down' August 11th. He was about 13 - 14 (really can't be sure because my son rescued him and we've never known his actual date of birth.) I'm dying inside but if I manage to depress myself to death, maybe we'll be reunited? Thank you, and I love that you're so loving and attentive with them :)
Your pain is so new. After some time, consider volunteering at a rescue. My daughter can't have a dog, so she works at a greyhound rescue. While it never will replace your dog, you will be appreciated by the dogs and other volunteers.
@1JamesMayToGoPlease It all depends on the rescue. Give yourself some time and then check out your options. Good luck and be as kind to yourself as your dog was loving toward you. ❤
Love watching Wallace, Angus and Millie on their adventures. Hugs for all the sweet bassetts 🐶🐶🐶🥰🥰🥰
Wallace is big like angus but still has his puppy brain🤣😩❤️💋
Очень приятно смотреть на Вашу прогулку с гончими. Я как будто гуляю вместе с вами.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love that Millie is the boss. She should be, she is calm and steady. Thanks.
Three very happy hounds🐶🐶🐶
Blooming trees look so beautiful! Kisses and hugs for Millie, Angus and Wallace ❤💕❤

Wallace and Angus being funny again while Millie just sits back and takes her sweet time.
Just lovely!
Looks so beautiful this time of year , hounds having the best time sniffing.
Millie is such a sweet girl 🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️
Bassets always need a great dinner when going off roading

Molly moo going at her own pace. Just like my moo. She is the wise one ❤
This is like therapy. I really enjoyed this one.

It's hard to let go, but time heals all wounds. You never forget but your pain becomes treasured memories. Good luck.
@@RedStickLouisiana Thank you so very much :)

@@jmalexander131 I'm going to consider that, but I don't know if they'll have any roles that my health will allow me to fulfill. Thank you :)

It's spring there already? Is it typical for NZ spring to start in August? (asking from the eastern U.S.)
We have opposite seasons, spring is September till the end of November so technically we're in the last days of winter
