It's officially fall and with that, my erratic seasonal mood swings. As much as I love the holidays, I hate them as well. This Beat Therapy series will be my answer to that. Rather than succumb to the beast that is seasonal depression, I'll just make sweet, melancholic mixes that make me happy to be sad, rather than just sad. I know I'm not the only one who gets like this, so if you have a track or two you'd like to see in an upcoming mix, let me know in the comments section and I'll try to finagle them onto a mix shortly. Of all of them, this is the most potent. I have other favorites as well, of course, but this... I can remember the smells outside, the feelings within. It's nice to look back and reflect on it all. I hope whoever you are and wherever you are, life is good.

At first you will be pushed around by your thoughts. Don't be intimidated by them. Be patient. Try again. Really, at the end, you want to have mastery over your mind, therefore you should be the one navigating, yes? How to do that? Questions how you move around in the abstract space of information.

I think it's important to be alright with that. We're all sort of taught to ignore and repress that sad shadowy part of the self. Best to feed it something healthy. Either way it's gonna eat :)

Excited to start the Beat Therapy series. Currently studying for an exam.
Within the first 30 seconds I said to myself "this is gonna be good" because I REALLY like the first track.

I used to live near China's North East border with Russia. Average winter temperature was like -20. At least I think it was, I can't remember as I was drunk most of the time. Even my boss was like, you know... When it's cold like this it's okay to be a little drunk all the time, keeps you warm. He lied, it was still cold :) I'm glad I can bring you some warmth my friend.
