Really enjoyed your reaction and the only thing I would add is the fact that he is singing not only in two registers but also in two languagesa and for the Bocelli part he switches between Italien ND eNGLISH WITH NO HESITATION OR FAULTS. aMAZING TALENT AND A REALLY NICE MAN. wATCH HIS COVER OF the power of love and his duet with Morissette Secret love song.

Hi Folks! Yes, Marcelito is truly gifted by God for all the suffering he endured in such a young age growing up all alone searching for his family. He used to sing to himself for comfort and discovered his gifts at the age of 18. He is the real deal and is on a league all on his own!

Ms. Khushbu, the last time you saw Marcelito, you were wondering and wanted to see or hear him sing in another language. Well, that was just one-- Italian and English. You might also want to see him sing in Spanish, Chinese and Korean and also Tagalog, which is his native tongue. ‘Mind you, Marcelito did not have professional training and that he finished only 3rd grade in school because he came from an underprivileged situation. Living on the street all on his own since he was 8 for about ten long years!..., in search of his family members. You can read about his life story.

Marcelito is a Filipino singer. Born on September 22, 1984 at Bislig in the heart of the Philippines. When he was young, his father was incarcerated while his mother left him alone with his younger sibling and went to Capital City Manila. His childhood years were a difficult life, for he used to live on the streets to earn something for a living. He’s been singing since 7 years old but only at the age of 18 that he then realized that he could make a career out of it.
UNIQUE TALENT …
Marcelito unique ability is that he can sing in both a male tenor voice and a female soprano voice. Because of this, he’s able to perform popular male-female duets without a partner. He sings both high and low parts, but he switches back and forth between them smoothly.
Marcelito is the winner of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ Season 2 in 2011.
In 2019 he took part in America's Got Talent: The Champions and earned a fourth runner up.

Marcelito’s talent in music is indeed God’s unique gift to him, for he did not manage to complete his studies. He doesn’t acquire his talent in music through academic studies, but his naturally cultured dual voices were being developed through his participation in various singing contest.

A one person duet, two voices, two languages (neither of which is his first language), faultlessly presented, seemingly effortless, all while sitting down. Also, self taught and having come through extremely difficult childhood circumstances and by all accounts he is a very humble, lovely person. Beyond talented and deserving of every success that comes his way. For anyone who wants to be the slightest bit critical (i.e. the 17 who clicked the thumbs down for this video), do it yourself and find five other people that can do it - good luck with that.

Born in poverty and risen to stardom but remains humble and true to his Christian faith and family. He never ever had a real training in singing, he's self-taught. How is that possible?
