Oh my god, when Eleanor invoked Nat's name and death, I felt like, however deadpan he's been playing things thus far, Clint should've had at least a _little_ bit of an "Excuse you?!" at that. Like, how very dare you, Ma'am. (Also, even without the couple of hints in previous eps, that whole set of scenes in the apartment screamed to me that she's absolutely a part of the shady shit. I mean, as much of a pain in the ass you might find your daughter in general, when an actual Avenger is in your apartment introducing himself by name and not just dropping her off and walking, that's probably the time that a mother who genuinely isn't involved in the case should be paying attention that this is real actual shit and not just your daughter engaging in shenanigans. Not asking questions about "Avengers-level threats" and so on to make things sound like small potatoes and like whatever Kate has to say can be disregarded.)

To be honest, it’s very crazy how things changed. When Hawkeye was in the past movies he was funny and stuff, but then we have him now where he’s serious and sad. It really shows what he’s been through.
