May be stupid cause he's an anime character but Kakashi is kind of an inspiration to me. All the pain and bullshit the world brings your way, when things look insurmountable, conquor them with a smile and just keep your head up and take care of the people you care about. I try my best to follow that

It was his own sheer grit and mental fortitude and openness to accept his own shortcoming and accept help when given that helped him overcome his own trauma and become asset. He is Naruto's perfect adult counter-part. Both did not sway from their right path or gave to crippling hate and turn evil. If Naruto was hated, Kakashi had to deal with the fact village in some way killed his father whom he hero worshiped. Both had badass father who died too young. If there is one person along with Naruto who deserves that damn HOKAGE title it is this man. I am glad author did him right at the end. Now if only the author had given him family and kid, it would be pitch perfect. All those beautiful genes going waste.

This writer thought about everything, from the very very beginning, the way Kakashi was always late from the very start, his sharingan, the whole story of how he got it, shivers man, this writing is another kind of beast. I'm a 3D character artist for videogames, but I've been working on a Sci-Fi novel series for close to 2 years now, its a completely different genre than Naruto, but Masashi Kishimoto is my biggest inspiration in terms of writing, all the plot twists, all the characters and their deep development for a quite large number of them, the way they are related in some way or another, the world building and I can go on. I've never written any books before, but the series I'm working on right now is my life dream, I hope people will love it as I do, and if not, I'm gonna write them all anyway and make it the best I can because I love the story, and I can't get it out of my head! I like it so much that the whole reason of me starting my studies in 3D was to give me another tool to help me give life to the story, by making little animations of key scenes and illustrations as well (I'm learning to illustrate on my free time.) I knew real fast the comic or manga template was not for me because my ideas comes way faster in my head than I can draw them, and when I start to write, I enter a kind of trance and its hard to stop, and when I enter this state, the last thing I want to do is pause my writing in order to draw! But there are some scenes I have in head that I will HAVE to illustrate, they are too epic for me to not do it!

people do not realize how much pain kakashi had to go through. losing his parents at a young age, his teammates/friends, his teacher, everything. it makes you think how everyday he remembers the death of his colleagues and how much it haunts him and the depression it gives him. do you remember in the beginning of Naruto when he was training Team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura) he always showed up late? hes busying looking at that stone where his teammates lie. yes that stone was their graves. this is what i love about naruto. every character has depth. and it catches you offguard when its revealed, especially in the case of kakashi. at first, he seems like a mostly isolated dude. kind of mysterious, we dont know much about him or what he does while hes gone off somewhere else. you just assume hes lazy but also realize that hes not that type of guy. but it finally gets answered and now you know their tragedy

When Obito "died" he had gained such a huge burden from the responsibility of Rin and the sharingan that he bears reminding him of Obito. From the death of Rin everything that had happened to him finally got to him gaining him PTSD and an unstable mentality. His friends weren't the only ones who noticed- Danzo also, who manipulated him to joining ROOT. Around this time Kushina was pregnant which Minato thought that Kakashi should watch over her for a change of scenery but during the birth of Naruto, Minato died. He still stayed in ROOT where many more child soldiers joined. Don't forget him being a child solider is such an important part to his backstory and shows how strong he is. There's also the Uchiha Clan masscre from his underclass, Itachi. It's guiltily for him since he could've done something plus it's from Obito's clan. His first time leading a squad, teaching rather than leading, he made mistakes. He was still processing the terms of Naruto and Sasuke ignoring it for so long. He was an awkward sensei and not properly engaging with them especially personally. He realised this further when Sasuke left the village and went to make the bonds between Naruto and Sakura. Obito's perspective left him shook and so was Itachi's truth. He couldn't really do anything. It was only Itachi's wish, Naruto and Sakura's obsessiveness that Sasuke was back in the village. He was an awkward sensei with Sasuke but knew the boundaries even letting him go on his journey. Kakashi is simply a human surrounded by understanding people who let him start over and grow to find himself. That his my character study of Kakashi shortened.

Holy shit, I just now realized - Kakashi Hatake is like the Obi-Wan Kenobi from Naruto and vice versa. One is like the ideal Konoha ninja, teaching teamwork, cooperation and the Will of Fire, even if he struggled hard and lost almost all persons he valued. The other is the same for another franchise: the ideal Jedi, who lost his teacher, love of his life, best friend and pupil and his whole order - but still and always remained true to the light side.

One is like the ideal Konoha ninja, teaching teamwork, cooperation and the Will of Fire, even if he struggled hard and lost almost all persons he valued. The other is the same for another franchise: the ideal Jedi, who lost his teacher, love of his life, best friend and pupil and his whole order - but still and always remained true to the light side.
