The Lawyer character is named Felix White, a parody of Phoenix Wright, but, if you google this character's name, the first result will be the Musician, Felix White. The music that plays is different from the original Escaping The Prison with the Pursuit music being called "Grilling Pursuit", which replaces the original Cornered Pursuit music from The first Ace Attorney game on Game Boy Advance.

I will say that these were the first games to come out in the series, Completing The Mission was the last and final game. All the games got major upgrades too from their originals so it's not less effort it's changing it but also keeping it as close to the original as possible. And yes I enjoyed the game series a lot.
