Man, that is a gorgeous mushroom haul! It’s always scary to try a new technique especially when it doesn’t show results right away and seems like it’s maybe a failure. I always say, someday I’ll have a pile of mushroom logs like that!!!
I really want to ramp it up come next fall after getting this first good haul. I might even go back and do some more oysters even though I had said I wouldn't do those again. I think if you had some logs down behind the compost area there or some dark place you would do good with it!
