Hey folks! I've received a request from a friend living abroad to restore his Fender Cabronita Telecaster Mexico. The saddles are all rusty, frets are a bit worn and need some love. Enjoy the video!
Is it just me, or do the majority of Fenders have maple freboards these days? I have nothing against maple in theory, I even own a Tele with a maple neck--it's just not my preferred aesthetic, and I wish Fender would put out more guitars with dark fretboards.
I'm actually with you on this one! I prefer dark fretboards and that's why I prefer brands such as Schecter or LTD. Their tele are gorgeous and modern.

They sound much better.
I like the darker fretboard wood but don’t like Indian laurel, pau ferro is better but needs to be oiled, very dry.
Great video 😎🎸🦯👍🏽What kind of cleaner or compound are you using on the guitar body?
are you shooting all this next to an Airbus reactor ?
beautiful guitar, really good work restoring it 👍
Nice bit of flame on back of neck
