It wasn't a clean cut off. Some pipers cut off later than others. It's not essential for this type of gig as it's just a bit of fun after the Glenfiddich competition, however if this was an RSPBA grade 1 comp they would be slated for that.
Wonderful to hear, but I wish they had played the fifth and sixth parts of "The Atholl Highlanders" (as per Scots Guards Vol 1). I believe the tune is attributed to the wife of a former Duke of Atholl.
@@rhysthompson9586 Yes - look at pages 86 and 87 of the Scots Guards Standard Settings of Pipe Music Vol. 1. I've been playing all 6 parts for at least the last 20 years now (prior to that, just the first four parts).
Tai Man Chan if you haven't realized, these are the twelve best pipers in the world and your someone who can barley play Rowan tree judging by that awful video of you playing it. It's best to shut your mouth rather than make a comment about some musicians who you should respect just because of how well they play and the dedication they put into this instrument. They don't deserve to be shit talked by some nobody
Wow, well done, excellent clean cut off!
