Hi guys! Every March for my birthday I stay for two weeks over in blue dolphin (Haven) - I remember the day you baked the biscuits well - had my dad and my sister & her kids over - ended up dressing them in ‘splash suits’ and going to peasholm park to feed the squirrels in the rain! It stopped in the evening except for one very heavy shower around 7pm - nice to see your van looks almost set! Fingers crossed for the next Vlog! - Found you guys through one of your cruise Vlogs a year ago - going on the Regal Princess later this year :)
Those scones looked delicious 😋 when all the fairy lights are on in the lodge and it’s getting dark it looks so cozy and pretty 😊

As a Southerner I approve of those biscuits. I've made them before and added chopped jalapenos to the mix. My old coworker, Mike, made homemade biscuits and brought in fig preserves to go with them.
Indoor living garden for the herbs would look nice next to the front door at the lodge
Only just realised the lodge is a 3 BED!!! How many years have I been watching. Can't believe I just realised 😂 always wondered where everyone slept when you had so many guests 🙈 hahaha
Another convert for the Red Lobster biscuits, our granddaughter likes them. Shirl couldn’t find any in Walmart but we got 2 packets at Publix so we’re sending some home with Gary and his daughter on Saturday. We’ve a chance to get more before we come home mid May!!
I had a couple of biscuits from Cracker Barrel just a couple of days ago, and they were indeed really good. Of course, they aren’t cheesy the way the ones you had from Red Lobster were, but they’re still pretty authentic southern biscuits.
With sticky dough, try using an ice cream scoop - the type with a button on the side that operates a release bar inside the scoop. Keeps your hands clean and standardises portion sizes. Dunelm sell one made by OXO which is perfect for the job.

Biscuits from usa. Usually get the packet from dollar tree or Walmart. Always stock up to bring back when been to orlando. Yes a bit messy to make but the taste makes up for it

There are herbs you can plant that deter rabbits I believe, like, Rosemary, which grows all year long, Mint, Thyme & Chives, maybe a few others I don’t know about, but worth a thought, love, love, loved the vlog, love ya’s ❤❤
Yum yum biscuits . I got some in my cupboard too ! All the way from the sunshine state . Some from Walmart own and some from good old dollar tree !, 😋

Top tip...when forming anything thats sticky,wet your hands between each biscuit and it wont stick to your hands 😊😊
Next time, use an ice cream scoop with cooking oil spray like Pam to drop biscuits onto cookie sheet or muffin tin. Easy clean up and no messy fingers. Love your vlogs!

Good vlog again lads. It seems your always eating lol but we have used those biscuits a few times as you know my wife is an American. The herb garden is a good idea but as you say it needs to be higher than the rabbits etc. I don't know if I told you but I work from Kelloggs so was wondering if I sent you some kellogg items you could let me know which ones you like or not? Amazon or eBay (cheaper) or alternatively look at the ingredients and make them yourselves 😉 TOP TIP FOR GOOEY DOUGHS: make sure to wet your fingers before handling the dough, it won't stick !!! Have a little ramekin of water next to you and every time you touch the dough wet your fingers, works wonders when making very sticky doughs !!
