I love clever solutions and this one qualifies! I especially like the quick aside regarding the use of ActiveX controls forcing you to save the file as macro-enabled. Simpler and fewer hurdles is definitely better.
That's AWESOME... Learnt to use "Form" Controls instead of "ActiveX" Controls - I REALLY didn't want to change one drop-down box control to manual entry on an existing Excel form. This way IT won't block .xlsm files all the time Thought I knew excel until I started watching your Videos Fast pace is great - as always content is excellent to enable rewind & figure out how you did something THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Hi Mynda. Super clever and functional visual! Love the tricks to dress up the radio buttons which are oh so 1990s in default :)) Thanks for demonstrating. Thumbs up!!
Thanks Mynda. A very nice solution for an annoying problem. Please use your influence as MVP to convince Microsoft that the min max setting to achses should be possible to a cell reference. It is on the user voice Excel for many years...
Another sneaky solution Mynda! Very nice and always great content team! Thank you for sharing TIP - at the 01:29 mark, you copy paste the MIN function to generate the MAX function You can do it faster using the CTRL + ' [apostrophe] shortcut on the cell immediately below It will place the same formula as the above cell and also respects absolute / relative cells Best wishes! Fantastic idea.. Just 1 thought to share - we could also create a simple drop down box - with these 2 options. So we may avoid the radio buttons at all. However, it looks visually very nice with radio buttons & formatting
Why Group Box though, since two radio buttons can be set up without it, right? P/S: if iI am just merely missing out on what was already discussed in the video, pardon me. I will replay it again.
I'll play with my charts some more, but cannot seem to add data from a second source to chart(s) made from pivot table(s). I have charts for each year that shows the 12 months of data but want the scale based on the maximum data point regardless of which month/year it occurred.
Amazing, but I have plotted lot of pivot tables. When I was trying to create multiple charts from 1 pivot, getting lot of issues like excel slow down like anything. Confused how to incorporate this.
Mam, i've got problem in PowerPoint every time I insert Data in any Graph it moves and make the data complicated and i try to start again inserting the data...kindly pls help me mam..thank you
Good grief. You, ma'am, are incredible. My hat's off.

Pivot Charts will only display what's in the PivotTable. You can use this workaround: th-cam.com/video/5vOqZBmBRos/w-d-xo.html
@@MyOnlineTrainingHub Perfect! Thank you.

Amazing, but I have plotted lot of pivot tables. When I was trying to create multiple charts from 1 pivot, getting lot of issues like excel slow down like anything. Confused how to incorporate this.
They don’t really work with PivotTables because you need to be able to plot the ghost series and have it linked to the radio buttons.
Awesome
Cheers, Jonny!
how do you visualise data with multiple header rows?
With nested axis labels.
I owe a decent chunk of my salary to this lady right here.
So pleased I can help, John 😍
Mam, i've got problem in PowerPoint every time I insert Data in any Graph it moves and make the data complicated and i try to start again inserting the data...kindly pls help me mam..thank you
Embedded Excel worksheets in PowerPoint are notoriously troublesome. See this video: th-cam.com/video/WgpfiVGs6qc/w-d-xo.html
@@MyOnlineTrainingHub thank you very much mam.
Cool trick but first we have to fix all axis min values to 0 in order to stop excel to change the minimum according to new data series.
Excel will default to zero for column charts.
You excel at being cute
