Not rlly because they didnt have KCP, they didnt have Bruce yet and honestly Aaron Gordon was not quite at that elite level where he is now in terms of his IQ. it took him sometime to figure out how to get to that level. I think the series go 6 or 7, and the Warriors win it. But last yr, oh ABSOLUTELY THE BEAT THE WARRIORS, they SWEEP THE WARRIORS.

The warriors games were all very close. They put up a fight. They didn’t have dray for a lot crucial games. We didn’t have a full team most of season. We beat the Celtics in Boston just saying not to many teams did this season. It’s not like they got absolutely cooked
I don't think its realistic to ask anyone to guard jokic straight up. Even AD last year was helpless and if you double him that 99 passer rating comes into play. It really comes down to t-wolves not having enough offense.

Do people really believe Gobert isn't a liability on defense? Like the man got 4DPOY-s only because he kept crying about it, his actual impact on defense is negative for his team, they have better defensive metrics when he's not playing, and it's not even close. And if you actually watch the games, the dude does NOTHING on defense except blocking a few shots. Jokic is 10 levels above him defensively, he actually does the big things like taking away space, making the opponent take awkward uncomfortable shots, switches properly, navigates the defense, is always a step ahead of where the pass is going and so on. Do people actually believe getting blocks equates to playing defense? Gobert is slow, can't switch, always jumps and tries to block, can't turn around, doesn't communicate on defense, but he gets 2 blocks and suddenly he's not a defensive liability? Draymond knows and understands this so well, as someone who actually deserved the DPOY because of all the small things he was doing and never blocking shots.
