Thanks for your honesty Martin. Creating the Roadmap and the DevLog has been the best thing you could have done. Now we know you have a plan, now we can see that our time investment won’t be wasted, and we understand your journey. Looking forward to seeing some great development, (when it’s right for you to do it).

Thank you Martin….I have been supporting this game since 2012. There have been times I thought about throwing in the towel….as it felt that new features and change was not coming. I appreciate your honesty. I have been enjoying PU recently as well. I look forward to hearing future updates.

Hello. I will be honest, the interface doesn't feel that dated, and is a pleasure to use, but in terms of concept, you can tell AS is quite dated. For example, the configuration system (introduction of new seat types for Business Class), dynamic turnarounds in older worlds, lack of frequent flyer programmes, no ancillary revenue (duty free and buy-on-board sales), as well as the lack of Premium Economy make it feel a bit limited. I would love to see the introduction of new features such as these if possible, obviously not rushed and in a reasonable timeframe for you all. I do not want to see drastic modern "design" and soulless UI on AirlineSim, maybe a few changes would be great, but the current look is inviting to me.
PS: Do not beat yourself up. Airline simulation games will always be "niche" games and very few can succeed like you have. AS for me will always be the best software of its kind.

    Hi Martin,
I would like to say something about the point that AS could be too difficult for beginners. I am of the opinion that AS is complex but it is possible to find your way around with the forum and other players. I rather see the point that new players lose interest faster if they understand that they have no chance to achieve something big on long-term servers. I myself have been playing on Pearls for 3 years and I have to say that the big players, such as in the USA and China, give new players little or no room to grow. That leaves only small countries and growth is very limited there.
In my opinion, the game should even become more difficult in the lategame. The maintenance would have to increase more for old airplanes or also that passengers use airlines with 36 year old airplanes less, e.g. small airlines that have newer airplanes because the used market doesn't offer anything more.
Oder die Treibstoffpreise können wieder an die realenwerte angepasst werden das wurde ja während Corona geändert als die alten hasen alle angst hatten ihre airlines gehen kaputt mit ihren oldtimern
Or the fuel prices can be adjusted to the real values again, which was changed during Corona when the old bunnies were all afraid their airlines would go bankrupt with their old planes because they naturally need more fuel.
Maybe you should get rid of old long-term servers that are no longer worthwhile and where few new players come and then rather open new long-term servers. The only important thing is that there is no used market and only current airplanes because otherwise the server will quickly lose its appeal, as with Yeouido.

I can reiterate this point. I was on a LT public server once where I setup a new company. Within 3 days, a few large companies setup subsidiary companies and pushed me completely out of the market and blocked growth, bc they leased literal tons of old planes. After that, I switched to a private server and since then have had tons more fun in the game. I am not against this game being hard, but it should leave openings for companies to get in somehow.
