Some Dragon Quarter - Bosch and Chetyre

It looks at first as if Bosch will break the arbitrary headcount limit and join your party for the ending, but then nope.
That Bosch’s HP and ABD are lower than that of the Regents may tempt you to just rely on single-round combos instead of double-round ones, but I’d rather stick to the Regent strategy and keep things moving along. Also, look how high his defense is. I don’t know what armor he’s wearing now, but it ain’t his HiRanger suit. Armor piercing skills like Terabreak and Drop Dead will do some good here.
In addition to his by now familiar Beast Blade skills, Bosch has somehow taken up advanced magic and can cast Primus, Hundredgears, and Blizzard. Below half health he’ll get really nasty and unleash a whole new technique called Tri Wake that tends to always be fatal. Have fun with that.
Switch to your anti-status armor when Bosch dragons up, because he can cast Malefication just like the final boss of the previous game, except this one actually hurts you. He can also cause an instant TPK with Quake, so SPREAD OUT.
It costs extra on the D-Counter, but I ended some of Ryu’s turns with him in dragon form, not only to tank some hits from Bosch, but to ensure Ryu could attack before the girls could. Dragon attacks are the only thing that can harm dragons, and you’ll need to tag Bosch with one at the start of every round in which you intend to damage him. It actually doesn’t need to be Vortex though. If you’re low on time, you can save a little by using D-Breath instead and simply not pushing the button.
After your old partner has left the building, the follow-up with his warm and cuddly headmate plays out more like a scripted event than it does like a real fight. Wherever you go, Chetyre can always hit you and will not move closer into your melee range. You have to use the Breath of Fire to finish the game.
