man, I don't get most of these reviewers. I still get excited when that riff kicks in at 7:00 and these three expressions didn't change at all...are they even listening to it?
Some might disagree with me. But I believe this is the absolute best heavy metal album ever released. Just listen to the talent SMH. Every position held their own and more. RIP Mick Menza. He was my favorite Megadeth drummer and I've been a fan since they formed in the 80s. And yes LOL I think they are far better than Metallica. Just my opinion though. We all have our own taste
Lars Ulrich stated, on a most wonderful Megadeth documentary that Mrs.Mosley and I recently vidied on the TH-cam, that he and the other members of Metallica were impressed (meaning excited) with Dave’s love of a most excellent musical group from Whales called “Budgie”. My jam since 1978!
Dave Mustaine was in Metallica between 81-82. He was part of the writing process of Kill Em All, but wasn’t on the recording. He wasn’t on any of their albums unless you include influence which he was a big part of that on the first two albums.
Dave wrote the music for metallicas four horsemen , phantom Lord , metal militia , jump in the fire and hetfield wrote the lyrics . he has a few riffs in call of ktulu , the song ride the lightning and leper messiah as well dispite never playing on a metallica record . The holy wars part of this song is inspired by megadeth playing Ireland mid 80s and before playing anarchy in the UK dave said " this one's for the cause " not knowing what that ment and said the whole audience split in half . Ended up having to be escorted out of Ireland on a bullet proof bus .
For some of Dave's best, 2nd album in 1986, "The Conjuring" and/or "Good Mourning/Black Friday" ... I think I might have requested this one? Maybe with some others haha. This is from 1990, their 4th album. Also that year is when Metallica went a little softer for the public attention. Dave and James argued too much to be in one band to have music their way, so it's actually great that they separated. 2 amazing bands, instead of one who argued so much it changed their music, which probably would have been a mess.
This video was filmed basically in a steel box and they said it was like a hundred and fifteen degrees or something like that, that is the main reason all of their shirts are off. You should check out an old video called rusted pieces oh, it's a bunch of old videos and he explains that video something he drank a s*** ton of Gatorade and never pissed once. He was kicked out of Metallica finally for kicking James's dog who is apparently just scratched the s*** out of Dave's car, but apparently he was a mean drunk, and didn't get along with Lars, and I'm sure there was a laundry list of other things. Megadeth's best song start out fast and interludes with a slower pace, Metallica's best song is slow then speeds up only at the end, if those two are how we're comparing things. Metallica put out albums Riding On The Backs of two very talented musicians Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton, is there any coincidence to the decline of quality in their albums after and justice for all. Dave was the best lyricist and songwriter, he was the musical Talent in Metallica.
Hi Gentlemen! This is THE Best Heavy Metal Song (Technically) than any other!!!! ; ) Cheers! It's also fun watching him jump out of a "perfectly good airplane" lol
Basically the story is, Dave woke up with all the guys around him in the bus and they said you gotta go, you can't be in the band anymore, your drug habits are getting out of control and we can't be a part of it anymore. He went on to start megadeth to spite them and prove he was better, saying on multiple occasions metallic is like a "dumbed down" version of what he wanted to do and kirk hammett was terrible at writing solos. Did not end well. They have since made up and everyone is friends again
Dave was kicked out in '83 before Metallica recorded Kill 'Em All and it was for alcohol and drug abuse. The rest of the band thought he was too unreliable. They did it in a shitty way too, sadly, took him all the way to NY from San Fran and then kicked him out. I think they gave him his BFH but nothing else this is why there was a lot of stress between the two bands for such a long time.
Hello Gentlemen! Most Metal Bands would cry if told to play this song..... Please have a shot, (or 4), shut out the lights and listen again when you are ready to have your Brain Melted into Mush by the BEST METAL SONG EVER!!!! lol (seriously though) Cheers
Mustaine got kicked out for being an asshole when he was drunk. But it gave us HIS band and better music!!! You guys need to get on some Judas Priest PAINKILLER!!! I didn't see any Rush in your history of videos, maybe you guys know them already, yes?
Amazing song! I've been trying to get you fellas onto some Nevermore! But would also love to see some "arise" era sepultura if that's more the flavour 😎👌
Love your reactions. How about reacting to some underrated oldschool danish thrash from the 80s. Fairly similar to Megadeth and they participated in the early development of the genre. Artillery is known for their guitar work by the two Stützer brothers. Some song suggestions could be: "Artillery - In Defiance of Conformity" or "Artillery - By Inheritance". You might struggle to find any good live recordings or music videos, so rather do a audio only one.
Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica around 1982. Metallica's first album came out in 1983. Megadeth's first album came out in 1985. Metallica had two albums out by then...Kill'em All (1983) and Ride the Lightning (1984). Where the two bands diverge the most is the frequency in which they put out albums. Since 1991's Black Album, Metallica has taken their sweet little time to put out new stuff, sometimes 5 to 7 years in between albums... like ftom 1991 to 1996 for Load to drop. 1997 to 2003 for St Anger to drop. From 2003 to 2008 for Death Magnetic to drop. Megadeth on the other hand put out new albums every 2 to 3 years consistently. Megadeth also went thru numerous lineup changes, but two of the original members are still there with Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson, the bassist. He left the band for awhile, but came back. They just can't seem to keep a drummer and second guitarist for very long. Marty Friedman who started with them here on Rust in Piece (1990) lasted fairly long until 2000 or so. Can't remember which was his last album right off hand.
The end where you can't keep track because they're all talking at the same time killed me. "great musicianshi..." "brilliant." "first I've eard of them."
The true Kings of Metal, maybe act to an amazing band you've never heard of before called Unlucky Morpheus their song Angreifer th-cam.com/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/w-d-xo.html

Just started watching your videos and I'm enjoying you blokes. You guys should react to a new contemporary rock song Ayron Jones Take Me Away when you get the chance.
Happy that you listen to my second favorite band (behind Jinjer), but they were first few years ago There is so many good songs in Megadeth albums, hard to know where to start: The full rust in peace album is a master piece sure, in particular take no prisonners and tornado of soul (probably my favorite guitar solo). I love Metallica (old albums) but Megadeath are way better
Might want to know, not that it's imperative to enjoying this song, but this is not the current line up of band members .. Megadeth has changed members a good bit over the years
Megadeth's song writing is far superior to Metallica's and besides 'Risk', Megadeth's discography blows away Metallica's. Don't get me wrong, Metallica's first 4 albums are classics. But give me Megadeth as a whole.
Metallica couldn’t hold Megadeths guitar strings. Dave Mustain is The Godfather of Thrash Metal… and this is the greatest metal song ever written and composed.
And again Lovebites must be mentioned more or less haha. Totaly deserved. These girls really brought back that 80ies sound which is the best thing in hard and heavy music in general. Cant wait for more Lovebites reactions from you guys. As for Megadeth, its an amazing band for sure. There will always be a debate weather Metallica is better or Megadeth. Both bands have couple millions of fans worldwide, and a successful careers so its hard to say which one is better. Stay safe. ROCK ON!
One of the best metal songs ever.
Maybe thee best
At least to 3
It’s #1 for me. Master of Puppets will be #2 and then Angel of Death #3.
@@JoseTorres_74 that's a good top 3... i think Painkiller would probably be my #3
The best
These guys sound like they are commenting on a golf game 😂😂😂
AHAH yes! Heavy metal like a golf game.
hahahahaha... I reckon commentating golf would be the hardest thing... I've always said it.
Mustaine is very rare, chief songwriter, vocalist AND lead guitar. You didn't really see that a lot back then.
Is it bad I read chief as chef?
I dunno maybe Dave is a good cook as well?
@@metetural9140 He probably is haha the man seems to be good at everything he does, I think he's criminally underrated.
Imagine being able to play at that level and sing at the same time? Unreal talent.
You STILL didnt see it hahahaha
It's off of Rust in Peace, from 1990. Absolutely perfect album.
man, I don't get most of these reviewers. I still get excited when that riff kicks in at 7:00 and these three expressions didn't change at all...are they even listening to it?
Yeah man
The pinnacle of thrash metal albums.
If you want a great shredfest song by Megadeth you should watch "she wolf" live from rude awakening
I put the same request before I saw yours.
Thank you so fucking much, bro.
React to peace sells by megadeth. The bass line is a classic

Rust In Peace is the ultimate technical thrash album
This is the exact song that got me into metal
Lars Ulrich stated, on a most wonderful Megadeth documentary that Mrs.Mosley and I recently vidied on the TH-cam, that he and the other members of Metallica were impressed (meaning excited) with Dave’s love of a most excellent musical group from Whales called “Budgie”. My jam since 1978!
This is my favourite reaction channel and my favourite band. How did I not see this until today?
of those solos dont give ya the goose wimples...there is something wrong with ya...Holy Wars...Holy chit !!!!
Rust in Peace is a MASTERPIECE in metal. pioneering and beautiful. Tornado of souls is a mUST
You have just witnessed metal mastery. Megadeath can play the entire works of Metallica and then some.
Dave Mustaine was in Metallica between 81-82. He was part of the writing process of Kill Em All, but wasn’t on the recording. He wasn’t on any of their albums unless you include influence which he was a big part of that on the first two albums.
1990. Held as one of the best albums from Megadeth
Dave wrote the music for metallicas four horsemen , phantom Lord , metal militia , jump in the fire and hetfield wrote the lyrics . he has a few riffs in call of ktulu , the song ride the lightning and leper messiah as well dispite never playing on a metallica record .

One of the most legendary albums
Dave Mustaine's guitar riffs and music carried Metallica's sound all the way up to Metallica's Master Of Puppets.
He co wrote/wrote 6 of the 28 songs on KEA and RTL btw. The RTL ones he wrote one riff each lmao not exactly carrying them
Megadeth is the thinking man’s Metallica
@@meteorman6167 copy and pasted from another video i assume
Dave Mustaine had his influence in metallica and wrote alot of guitars through master of puppets album
