I appreciate the info about foot pedal controllers! Here's an additional tip that enables you to use a foot pedal to bend note pitches incrementally (eg. bending strings while playing an electric guitar solo, or create the haunting "pitch-drop" affect at the end of each note during a pan flute solo) using a “continuous sustain” (half-sustain) pedal (eg. the Yamaha FC3), which enable users to continuously adjust the amount of sustain (or in this case, the pitch of a note if so set), according to how much the pedal is pressed. Note, this cannot be done with a regular sustain pedal (like a Yamaha FC4A or TC5A) which are just on/off switches that can only cause the pitch to jump a set amount (eg a semi-tone or full tone the instant the pedal is pressed). These variable sustain pedals have a 1/4" stereo tip-ring-sleeve TRS phone plug, rather than a Tip-Sleeve TS plug. This works great to create nuanced solo effects in the right hand, like an electric guitar solo, or pan-flute, etc.
Just inherited a tyros and sold my Psr8000. I never used that to it’s full potential by swapping floppy discs as the manual is so complicated. Hopefully, I can enjoy the tyros as much as I did the 8000

Why is it on the Tyros 3 I can never hear the Mega Voices?
Lost sound. And volume on my tyrosine ear phones works with ear phones. What shall I. Do.
