I am a 58 year old businessman from Japan. I have been a very advanced hobby pizza baker for 20 years. Judging all the other youtube videos / Honey in the dough, rolling the pizza dough or using this roller to make holes in it. I must say this result looks great, and I don't say it often.
Hey guys, this looks really great and you've got me going from a purpose built wfo to one of these portables (taking on holiday will be great). Can't wait to see it in the flesh.
Not sure if anyone will see this, but is the indoor big unit in the back custom built or can you buy them like this? If you can buy them, know any names?
Looks very good. One thing that makes me feel un-nerved is, that one leg at the front. 4 legs would have given it a psychological reassurance for stability. Good luck with the product. I'll keep the link and tell people about it.
Sir I love this oven . I love in dammam saudiarabia.I checked your website, you guyes dont deliver this beautyto my country. I got upset and sent mail on the inquiries.. The next they replied and said the same that you guys don’t deliver to saudiarabia. Sir what can be done as I make pizzas everyday so I meed this oven. Can you ship to my country through DHL I am ready to pay the shipments Thankyou
Hi, looks amazing and cant wait get to get one - well done guys. Any chance of a vid showing the wood burner getting going? The unit looks quite small so wondering how you get air in about it and up to speed / heat. Thanks
I have a small problem. Putting my oven together and after I snapped on the burner and turned the Roccbox back on its legs; if I have the propane tank on the LEFT side...the weight of the propane cord pulls on the burner and it snaps right off and falls on to the table. (it's not a real tight fit- but I do hear the 'snap')
I can remedy the situation by putting the propane tank on the but this seems a little mickey-mouse. Your feedback will be appreciated!
Can it do larger Pizzas? This is a very small pizza, also just cheese and tomato which cook fast with very few toppings? - I cant see the cheese bubbling...?

Hi, Tom Gozney, You could have put a rotating base with a handle outside the oven to rotate the base. It would be easier to rotate the pizza without the paddle (too many risks doing it outside the oven). o/

pity that it is not bigger, the pizza looks quite small, and that doesn't have an internal spinning base, so you turn it as you wish instead of using your hands, pretty primitive.
You must have never been to a pizza place before lol. You rotate pies with a pizza peel, that's how its done... A 12 inch pie is perfectly big enough for a home oven.
@@kilohouse that size is for a gourmet pizza, almost individual. And I don't care how "it is done", it would be better if it has a small internal spin base to let you turn the pizza quickly trouble less.

@@gabrielirlanda I didn't tell you how to make pizza, guy. Look up a Blackstone if you want to see a rotating base. Still not going to produce traditional authentic pizza.
Talentado Ka That's called cooking. If managing your meal is too much effort you can always pop a frozen pizza into the microwave and it will turn it for you...
Why aren't you using the pizza peel? The turning of the pizza doesn't look esthetic nor professional enough with the shovel..apart from that if the shovel heats up it would get sticky so someone won't be able to make more pizzas 😂😂
that is the issue as always but not on electric/gas oven. you need to turn the pizza around several times to have a perfectly cooked pizza. that said, this is no good than a conventional oven, gas or electric.
I’m not spending 500 or 600 bucks a pizza oven. SMH !!!!!!!! Just get your self a 20 dollar lodge cast iron skillet to get a well crusted and beautiful cooked pizza. And they have other cast iron products for larger pizzas. This is just stupid and waste of 500+ bucks.
why so little sauce and cheese? gozney why don't you listen to your customers and look at your competitors. roccbox is too small. small opening. makes too small pizzas. flame in the back and burns crust, put flame on the side like the better ovens do like ardore and many others. heat dispersion is lacking, front much hotter than back. improve pizza stone, make more uniform heat on the bottom., etc.
8 years later and it's still the gold standard. Perfetto!

Hi Hirohiko,
Thank you for your kind feedback!
Fantastic piece of equipment. We managed to make delicious, restaurant quality pizzas! Thank you for making Roccbox.
I timed it. The pizza went in at 2:24. Came out at 3:54. Dang if thats not 90 seconds on the nose. Just ordered my Roccbox!
Dan was sorely underused
Just ordered one! Can’t wait for it to arrive and get cooking!
The best oven ever!
Need one of these to sit with my Big Green Egg! Looks like the best true Neapolitan pizza i've seen cooked at home!
I have exactly the same big green egg and this.
Just got one! Can't wait to use it tomorrow!
congratulation!...from Naples (Italy)

I'd like to see a video on the step-by-step process of adding/using fuels before it's turned on and, then the cleaning process.
I know this comment is 3 years old, but I cover this in my review if you're interested.
this looks amazing - awesome demo. can't wait to get one!
Now that's just wicked👍🏼😁 ....lush

Since the roccbox is insulated is it safe to touch whilst cooking a pie?

I find the thermometer is kind of vague how hot donyou recommend before cooking a pizza?
What´s the thing with the big burning oven in the back?
That´s kind of confusing.
Or did you compare the two?
Can't wait for March 16!!!!
Please you can tell me what's consummation of pellets for cookin one pizza?

+Topdog The advantage of having 3 legs is that it won't wobble if it is on a surface that isn't perfectly level.
Thanks for reply and explanation. Makes sense.
My Roccbox was shipped a few days ago
I did not know the founder was English!
That’ll give me that extra encouragement to make a purchase 😉
so you don't need a lid / oven door cover for this oven? Does it come with one?
can it make tandoori naan/ roti?

What size pizza can you cook? Also would uncooked Italian sausage be fully cooked within in the 90 seconds? Thanks
Looks like the stainless gets messed up quickly. I see browning and blackening on the front. How does one keep it clean and safe.
thx
Any thoughts on using something besides stainless steel in the future?
Can a Roccbox be used in a food truck/Food Trailer in California?
Yes, with the correct ventilation!
@@gozney You mean with a commercial hood system?
I wish the Roccbox came in 16” for that thin crusted, NY-style-pizza I grew up eating.
what´s the biggest size of pizza you can make with roccbox ?

Can this be used inside a restaurant?

Hi, Tom Gozney,
You could have put a rotating base with a handle outside the oven to rotate the base. It would be easier to rotate the pizza without the paddle (too many risks doing it outside the oven). o/
Also, a small barrier right at the end of the base to avoid the pizza paddle pushing the pizza to close to the flame.

These look incredible. Definitely interested. Which recipe do you use for your base?
+Roccbox Ltd. how many pizzas will you get out of that recipe?
that moment when right after he says "unedited uncut version" they cut to a different fucking shot.
How wide can your pizza be?
Hi, I find that a pizza of around 11 inches is a good size. Too big and you risk burning the edge of the base nearest to the flame
that dough recipe please?
¿How much this costs?
I'm sold.. I wan't one

Does the pizza taste like gas after being cooked
+tony falco I should think so. I've got an electric oven at the moment and my pizzas all taste of electricity.
Bello strumento, il basilico va messo a fine cottura se no la pizza resta amara
hi bro
I bought this oven stone is great, except that my pizza comes out very hard.
please if you like, can you give me your pate recipe?
thx
Put a self rotating stone inside and you won't have to keep pulling out pizza. Just a suggestion.
Cooks a pizza in under 90 seconds. Do people really need a rotating stone in there?
"uncut unedited version" and then they cut to another camera lol
Is this always going to be £500? Not sure I cook pizza often to make the investment worthwhile.
Actualy actualy really actually pizza actually
I have an idea for a commercial using audio track from a song called "Rock Box" by Run-D-MC. Hit me up.
