Why do artists sing songs live different to the song/tune that they sell to the public? The melody that Ellie is singing here is nothing like the song she’s released to us? Curious 🤷♂️
There’s multiple reasons someone may choose to do this. Either because they don’t want to sing it the same every time to keep it fresh or because they’re trying to avoid something that might be too difficult to consistently replicate. My guess is that she just wanted to change it because there’s plenty of videos of her singing it nearly the same as the record version.
