Not sure why you guys think it was ONLY role players on the team. They obviously weren't a super team, but were a very good all around team. Dirk even struggled in the last game. Dirk had an amazing series and led the team, but it wasn't really just him vs the heat like people like to say.
He was the only all-star on a team of 30+ year olds and they were also missing Caron Butler who was arguably their second best player before going down with an injury, role players stepped up but this was Dirk vs Heat all the way. Without Dirk the mavs win 1 game max, there were only 3 players on that team that averaged double figures in points that series, so cut it out bruh, Dirk carried.

The Spurs inflicted the worst beatdown in NBA finals history, a very underrated fact. LeBron's legacy basically was erased right there. It doesn't matter the teams involved, it's the finals dude, it's not supposed to be so one-sided. Not even the Nets facing Shaq and Kobe lost like this, they tried to fight at least. Many examples of underdogs facing monsters and you didn't see a 14 pts margin of victory. And the funny thing is... LeBron broke his own record the last finals, Golden State won by 15 pts every game.

nothing was gonna stop DIRK redeeming himself after 06, he had one of his amazing years in Dallas in 2011 and that team was so underrated, everyone counted them out but man they proved them wrong, sweeping the 2 time Champion Lakers, that was huge

Yet Lebron only avged 18 points during the series and would disappear in the fourth quarter when it mattered the most. That never happed to Jordan. His lowest avg ppg in a final series was 27.3 and his next lowest was 31. He never disappeared the way Lebron did
So did that Warriors series put him back in it? You know, the one where he carried his team to overcome a 3-1 finals deficit to beat the highest winning % team in NBA history? He dethroned a dynasty that would be looking at 4 straight chips without LeBron to stop them. I don't think he's better than Jordan, but top 5 certainly.
