I found a tip you forgot maybe if your stuck and can’t find the machine make sure there are no twisted around and look up if you see a giant pipe head to it a machine will be there since the machines have giant pipes that go to the ceiling above them
As a very poor trinketless Poppy, I've been rawdogging this game, sure I may die on the first few floors but it grows my ego knowing I can get through those floors without needing a distractor and being fully solo
The razzle and dazzle one is true, but they’re actually considered an A+ tier toon. Like you said they become really slow on even floors, but they get faster extraction speed, and vice versa. This is due to an unspoken detail in their ability description. On odd numbered floors, your extraction speed gets replaced by movement speed, but on even floors your movement speed gets replaced by extraction speed. They’re not recommended to do a solo run, but they’re better on playing with multiple other people, since they can become a Distractor AND an Extractor.

i wouldn’t consider then a high tier toon, i would say they suck at some points. Even tho they’re great speed in exchange for they’re low extraction speed make then a back-up distractor, that isn’t enough to make up for they’re high extraction speed and low speed. Going to extract machines can get really risky when a twisted appears out of nowhere. especially when you’re extracting a machine out in the open (risky machinery). So I would probably put them at the bottom of C tier. Thats just in my opinion tho. edit: corrected a typo

Okay! For scraps and goob ive found a really good way to deal with them is to practically make yourself known to them rather than finding you at a machine. If you're worried about either of them spotting you at a machine, get off of it, find a nearby safe wall, and then let them see you before ducking behind it again. If you're lucky, theyll use their ability and turn around! if you're unlucky, at least when they chase you their ability has a short cooldown so you can better position and treat them as a normal chase from a twisted while on their cooldowns. Kinda like how its better to just hide from pebbles then ever being caught, scraps and goobs are the opposite practically due to their ability. Make them see you, bait out their long range attack, and they'll either turn around *or* you can deal with practically a normal twisted. This becomes a bit harder during blackouts or when theres a lot more twisteds to deal with whoops lmao
I'll be honest, the game is a game of luck and skill. You can be a shrimpo and have brick and go to floor 30. You can pretty much use any character and anyskill. If you cannot play your character properly but someone can play say.. shrimpo properly, let em play shrimpo. The games whole point is YOU have to master your character, so dont worry about who plays what because even if its a team game- if YOU suck at playing your character, then YOU will lose. You control your own character, and others control theirs. I think it genuinely doesnt matter who you play as. If you suck at the character you play as you'll die and I'll live. Dont matter what you play as, just be good at the character and you will always win.
the luck in question also includes players who try to get you killed because you're mastering boxten and they think you're a noob even though they initially saw you were vintage teagan, right 🤨

I main tisha, one of the most versatile toons in the game with her high walk speed and skill check, but I barely get past floor 10 bc I absolutely suck at distracting, and I horde all the healing items at the start of the game and lose them all the second I encounter a group of Twisteds larger than 2
for goob and scraps the only advice i can give is just be extremely careful and try to stay near things you can hide behind, for distracting though, goob grabs every 10 seconds, while scraps grabs evey 20, or its at least around this time. You absolutely have to loop scraps and goob around islands while distracting, and its extremely difficult to distract goob or scraps while boxten or another twisted is chasing you, you have to constantly juke them or loop around so goob/scraps will keep chasing, its difficult to do but you can learn with enough practice. Edit, forgot to mention, but if you're in a tough spot where goob/scraps will see you, run out in front of them, hide, and run, i call it a bait and run personally, but it works well.
One thing that ive found helps, especially with the more common twisteds, is making sharp corners. But i must also say dont do this if you dont know where the others are lol

Alsow the 2fps part is an exaggeration it runs smoothly 50% of the time but the other 50% is when i think the computer is choking because OH MY FREAKING GOD it stutters like CRAZY
another tip: I reccomend using Pebble and the cat??? Pebble's movement speed is greater than the other toons,meaning even if you dont use your stamina you can still outrun most of the twisteds. for The Cat i forgot the name, when you are out of stamina and the ele is about to close, you can use its ability to pull yourself in the ele just in time.
Tip: on meme videos look at some comments and see if eveyone complains about 1 thing in the video. If this happens congrats you probably got one with weird things in it. Idc what you do afterwards.

I love this game.I grind a lot and have gained a lot of experience.My best solo record is 30 too.Still,the blackouts plus scraps and goob are still an unsolvable dilemma for us.
for me, when trying to survive goob or scraps i hide behind boxes and make sure they’re in the side where the pile of the boxes are longer so i don’t risk chances of survival. i know its kinda a normal tactic but i use it and it helps.
Also the best way to juke/beat scraps first off if scraps try’s to hit u go to a area that has space and if goob try’s to grab u then go to a area with stuff and go to the corner or the stuff and he won’t grab u.

The max twisteds that can appear on a floor are 6, you can see theres an astro, pebble, boxten, poppy, rnd, and double shrimpo, because the twsited cap used to be 8, but now its just 6
When I started playing I did solo a lot too but I got good and now I can play by myself and get to floor 20 I got to floor 20 today so I don’t know lf I can do it by myself because I had my friend and then they had to leave but I played solo a lot when they left they left at floor 11 so I had a lot of work to do by myself
Thanks for the tip, fun fact: I got Twisted Pebble on floor 6 on round first round, Scraps on first floor twisted Glisten and twisted fluster on floor 2 on my second round and double twisted Rodger on floor 4 and 5, I died to Pebble since I only had Boxten. I got Tisha and got Twisted Glisten on floor 2 and died to him since I couldn't find him
For me getting to floor 20 is actually impossible, it comes to three conclusions. 1 my team dies at floor 12 or 4. 2 my team just leaves for zero reason. And 3, the team is just not too experienced and like to troll. And the main toons in my team doesn't help either. They still die somewhere at 15 or 8. And I need pebbles mastery cause that is the last toon I need to master!
4:11 doesn't matter, you're getting 25 walk and run speed, that's literally the same bonus either you're walking or running. use if you need to, even if you don't have any stamina left. don't forget pebble only has 20 walk speed and outwalks most of the twisteds, 25 + your base speed is definitely gonna make a difference As for goob and scraps, they're really easy to avoid, and if you ever get spotted, all you have to do is cut LoS as soon as you see them start their ability animation, if you can't do that run in a straight line in the opposite way and you might get out of reach in time.
It's easy to survive twisted goob and scraps! Just avoid contact( Idk what's that called) in a straight line. This way, you will be able to survive Goob and srcaps! (easy peasy!)
Ok here me out, Gigi with Speedy Shoes and Dog Plush, Her speed is the only thing that really keeps her down, fixing that basically makes her perfect, I’ve gotten to floor 17 in a solo run with this (yes I have that much patience, and also it was mostly luck-)
Not joking, but I legitimately had a dream about dandys world and I was playing the game on my laptop like I normally do in IRL, and then I fell asleep while playing it and when I woke up since we had a goob on our team, somehow I made it to floor 25 without dying or losing a heart
I got to floor 20 because we had a good distractor, there was 10 machines to do and everyone slowly died (there was 3 mains; pebble, astro and sprout) the distractor died and slowly everyone else did until it was me and another person (it was also blackout) I died to A BOXTEN... DURING PANIC MODE... And that's how my highest floor remains at 20
I made it to floor 20 once with my team : Two Cosmos for healing, one Pebble for distracting, Me as a Goob extractor and one flutter which did't help muck but helped
heres how i avoid twisteds: keep it mind i main toodles so my stats mentioned may be higher or lower than yours. my ideal strategy is to go to the back and finish the machines there first, since i play as an extractor. i work my way towards the one closest to the elevator, and use the machine manual trinket. i also use the coin purse for the extra tapes because dandy likes to give me bandaids when i cant afford them. i also stay extremely close to barriers i can loop around to get out of line of sight easier, i also try to keep a close eye on where each twisted is. for example, if scraps was on one side of a wall and poppy was on the other, id go for poppy because she cannot attack at a long range! during card picks, i usually pick the blackout decrease or rarer items. these have gotten me to floor 21 in a duo and to floor 12 without taking any damage!
About the stamina, once I was on a solo as Goob, on a high floor I was getting chased by a main and I think boxten, I was low stamina- And I somehow found an island or what it’s called and it saved me - and probably the movement speed helped me survive! 3:56
my own tip! when you get gumballs in ur inventory i'd recommend use them all since theyre really useless. 2nd tip: ALWAYS, ALWAYS use bandage or medkit to heal up when youre 1hp, i wouldnt recommend to use medkit at 2hp.
What i usually do is to fill the furthest first and the last will be the nearest. Also, i will distract the enemies in a corner then leave them be for a while far away at my filling machine.
this video is just the basics, common things to know and most randoms dont even know that to lose a twisted you dont run around the whole map, you lose line of sight mate
I mostly distract goob and scraps using pebble if scraps or goob saw you frun fast and find a counter to lose sight if you do that it cannot hurt you sometimes if scraps and goob ar far to you and saw you if you cant find an obstacle just run straight making sure your very very far from them they cannot catch you but if you do that if you close well youll just lose a heart.

The way i count goob is every 13-14 and scrap is 15-16
But i have a slight pause in between counting

yeah, if you stick to the wall while turning in a corner it's gonna make the Twisteds lose some seconds by getting around the corner

edit 2: i got through floors 5-11 by myself today i feel proud, i also encountered twisted vee for the first time on floor 8/9, i feel proud!
edit3: i have now met every twisted and have ATLEAST 5% research on all i have poppy/boxten, rodger, teagan,tisha and scraps and i now only need about 150 ichor before i can buy goob!

I love this game.I grind a lot and have gained a lot of experience.My best solo record is 30 too.Still,the blackouts plus scraps and goob are still an unsolvable dilemma for us.
for me, when trying to survive goob or scraps i hide behind boxes and make sure they’re in the side where the pile of the boxes are longer so i don’t risk chances of survival. i know its kinda a normal tactic but i use it and it helps.

Also the best way to juke/beat scraps first off if scraps try’s to hit u go to a area that has space and if goob try’s to grab u then go to a area with stuff and go to the corner or the stuff and he won’t grab u.

i'd make it to floor 20 more often if i didn't die to lag 90% of the time and people leading twisteds to me 9% of the time.

I'd make it to floor 20 if the distract doesn't die on floor one or if the twisted I don't need resarch on appears on floor 19
here's my priority for trinkets ;
1. covering weaknesses (thinking cap, water cooler, etc.)
2. upgrating forces (magnifying glass, machine manual, dog plush, etc.)
3. upgrating the toons's power (ex. blushy bat for poppy)
4. bonus (vee remote,crayon set, dandy plush, etc.)

The max twisteds that can appear on a floor are 6, you can see theres an astro, pebble, boxten, poppy, rnd, and double shrimpo, because the twsited cap used to be 8, but now its just 6

for me, one of the most easy twisteds to avoid is...... Razzle and dazzle! Just don't run when you see a red wire or a thingy on the floor! easy!

Thanks for the tip, fun fact: I got Twisted Pebble on floor 6 on round first round, Scraps on first floor twisted Glisten and twisted fluster on floor 2 on my second round and double twisted Rodger on floor 4 and 5, I died to Pebble since I only had Boxten. I got Tisha and got Twisted Glisten on floor 2 and died to him since I couldn't find him

i suggest dog plush and pink bow to upgrade stamina and walk speed, and blue bandana and wrench if you wanna focus on machines.

For me getting to floor 20 is actually impossible, it comes to three conclusions. 1 my team dies at floor 12 or 4. 2 my team just leaves for zero reason. And 3, the team is just not too experienced and like to troll. And the main toons in my team doesn't help either. They still die somewhere at 15 or 8. And I need pebbles mastery cause that is the last toon I need to master!

4:11 doesn't matter, you're getting 25 walk and run speed, that's literally the same bonus either you're walking or running. use if you need to, even if you don't have any stamina left. don't forget pebble only has 20 walk speed and outwalks most of the twisteds, 25 + your base speed is definitely gonna make a difference
As for goob and scraps, they're really easy to avoid, and if you ever get spotted, all you have to do is cut LoS as soon as you see them start their ability animation, if you can't do that run in a straight line in the opposite way and you might get out of reach in time.
My honest advice is to have a good team. Try to get atleast one distractor, a few extractors, a healer, and an all-rounder.
It's easy to survive twisted goob and scraps! Just avoid contact( Idk what's that called) in a straight line. This way, you will be able to survive Goob and srcaps! (easy peasy!)

Ok here me out, Gigi with Speedy Shoes and Dog Plush, Her speed is the only thing that really keeps her down, fixing that basically makes her perfect, I’ve gotten to floor 17 in a solo run with this (yes I have that much patience, and also it was mostly luck-)

Not joking, but I legitimately had a dream about dandys world and I was playing the game on my laptop like I normally do in IRL, and then I fell asleep while playing it and when I woke up since we had a goob on our team, somehow I made it to floor 25 without dying or losing a heart

Tip: when getting chased, look how close the twisted is, if its very close use the dash/run for a lil bit, it helps, works better with goob!
Another thing is that twisteds can see through machines, but can’t see through fences.

I do have some advice for goobs and scraps! Both of them do grab far so running around boxes are great to, they will grab only an inch is it’s great!
I got to floor 20 because we had a good distractor, there was 10 machines to do and everyone slowly died (there was 3 mains; pebble, astro and sprout) the distractor died and slowly everyone else did until it was me and another person (it was also blackout)
I died to A BOXTEN... DURING PANIC MODE...
And that's how my highest floor remains at 20

I made it to floor 20 once with my team : Two Cosmos for healing, one Pebble for distracting, Me as a Goob extractor and one flutter which did't help muck but helped

as a new player, the thing i find the hardest is finding a dedicated group of players and not just people roleplaying.
heres how i avoid twisteds:
keep it mind i main toodles so my stats mentioned may be higher or lower than yours.
my ideal strategy is to go to the back and finish the machines there first, since i play as an extractor. i work my way towards the one closest to the elevator, and use the machine manual trinket. i also use the coin purse for the extra tapes because dandy likes to give me bandaids when i cant afford them.
i also stay extremely close to barriers i can loop around to get out of line of sight easier, i also try to keep a close eye on where each twisted is. for example, if scraps was on one side of a wall and poppy was on the other, id go for poppy because she cannot attack at a long range!
during card picks, i usually pick the blackout decrease or rarer items.
these have gotten me to floor 21 in a duo and to floor 12 without taking any damage!

About the stamina, once I was on a solo as Goob, on a high floor I was getting chased by a main and I think boxten, I was low stamina-
And I somehow found an island or what it’s called and it saved me - and probably the movement speed helped me survive! 3:56

my own tip! when you get gumballs in ur inventory i'd recommend use them all since theyre really useless.
2nd tip: ALWAYS, ALWAYS use bandage or medkit to heal up when youre 1hp, i wouldnt recommend to use medkit at 2hp.

I mostly distract goob and scraps using pebble if scraps or goob saw you frun fast and find a counter to lose sight if you do that it cannot hurt you sometimes if scraps and goob ar far to you and saw you if you cant find an obstacle just run straight making sure your very very far from them they cannot catch you but if you do that if you close well youll just lose a heart.
