Belize central america I'm from and i think Nigeria is a wealth country because of it's natural resources but i believe the money's made aren't invested in the Nigerian people!!✌🏽🙏🌎🇧🇿🇳🇬💯
@@The_Ballo yea you're right, oil refineries are run primarily by multinational oil companies like shell who are in cahoots with the corrupt nigerian government and complicit in widespread human rights abuses
"we have had challenges regarding funding some of these projects..." bullshit. 31 billion in profits yet no funding to clean up your messes? This makes me really sad.. I feel for those Nigerian villagers who have been affected... god bless xxo
Shell needs to get the hell out of Nigeria. There should be at least a fifteen year moratorium on oil production in Nigeria and it should continue until the oil industry comes up with cleaner and fail safe technology and is ready to put in it in place. Further Nigeria needs to get back making commodities, agriculture for expoert, technology, tourism etc.
Yeah Sure. You are really naive if you think this would change anything. In place od SNEPCO there is already chinese CNOOC waiting and they will be worse than shell
"Shell posted profits of 31 billion dollars".....moments later: "but the cleanup would cost several billion dollars".....i think 31 is more than several?
by then shell would've wrapped up the profit and left, same for politician, they would live a happy retirement with fat bank accounts in switzerland to cover their expenses

Would you rather have shell and corrupt politicians reaping all the benefit without sharing the oil profits with the locals. I don’t condone what they doing but I understand. The oil industry inNigeria benefits few individuals and those who live in the regions where oil is extracted, get nothing hence they resort in these illegal activities.

The reason to put your health at risk is because you're poor. Well, try to be rich with an irreversible disease, and see how that workout for you.
