You are quickly becoming one of my favourite reviewers, up there with TRDQ. Funny, short, informative, idk what else people could possibly want out of a Transformers channel. I don't even *like* Perceptor that much, but this review alone is making me consider replacing my Titans Return Percy
5:55 made me lol. Come to think of it, Perceptor really would make for an amazing wrestler. His trash talk would all be based on facts and logic and after ruining his foe he'd transform into a microscope just so he can better inspect the damage he's done. Hell, even his iconing line "I fear the wounds are... fatal" would make for a pretty badass win quote in a fighting game.
@@Gei4Mei Mostly aid Optimus in moving Energon around and defending the Ark in the 2nd and 3rd levels of the game. He didn’t do much outside of being the guy in the chair, but it was cool to see him and play as him in multiplayer

It’s shorter, and has more hollowness but the sculpted detail and overall aesthetic is a bit more involved, the headmaster can drive the tank mode which is great, and the microscope actually moves in and out when you turn the dial! Also he comes with a sniper rifle! Overall similar, still good but aesthetically different and has more features yet isnt as structurally sound as SS86

I'm very late, I realize. But the answer to this is "sort of." Perceptor turns into his regular microscope mode, but fires a beam out of his scope. It's odd.
you can store the canon more cleanly, use the transformation rotation to put it on his actual shoulder and rotate it back, it doesn't block movement and looks a lot better
So I'm a little late sorry I watched it the day it came out, but I got two versions of this figure for in box and out of box collection. I'm so happy I made a new video and you killed it and I'm excited for them to make a studio series 86 prime (I hope)
I love this Perceptor, I got him from my local comic book shop in Manhattan and he was just a joy, and he looks good next to his G1 Universe 2.0 Reissue I got way back in 2010 and idk I'm just speechless like this is Perceptor and I have Legacy Blaster so I can recreate the scene "Blaster, Ultra Magnus sends orders to contact Optimus Prime on moonbase one." "Oh right cover your receptors Perceptor"
@@Gei4Mei Considering that most toy makers aren’t going to be well versed in military vehicles and only really know of: fighter jet, tank, helicopter, jeep, battleship, and submarine. It probably is supposed to be a tank, even though it looks like an artillery piece or a maxim gun just strapped onto treads.

I actually find the leg transformation pivots can be used to make him cross his legs which makes for quite the rare pose on a mainline figure.
I don't mind them because he's a transformer, so extra joints make sense.
