It may be worth running your snorkel intake backwards. That what i used to do no branches n crap get in then!
I believe having the intake facing the rear is the correct orientation. Foliage ingestion, heavy rain and big water splashes would all be better if the intake faced rearward.

Twist your snorkel and point it backwards for lanes like that. I leave mine like that anyway as there's no filter and it likes a drink through big puddles 🤣
If ur gonna be doing water crossing or in involving water should re mount ur ecu into the cab of the landy or somewhere more dry saves buggering up the ecu
Landcruisers are proper trucks . I have a lc4. Hits hard off-road . Pulls my trailer and 350 with ease. Full leather comfy as! 489 torques I love it

There's a green lane at the top of elan valley, you cross the top dam that goes to a dead end, turn left and away you go. 100% want to see a video of you guys exploring up there!!
You probably already know this but just incase u dont, make sure not to leave a tonne of mud and shit on the chassis and underside of the body, wheel arches and all that stuff cos the mud will cause ur truck to rot really bad. So ye make sure to wash thoroughly underneath ASAP after doing lanes :)
seeing you build the truck and having so much fun with it was one of the biggest reasons I purchased an l200 can’t wait to get a snorkel and exhaust on her

If you run trough the bush, turn the snorkel backwards (opening on the rear) then it will not snatch into the trees and bushes 🤔😋
Remember driving past you in a a5 down a hill near Minch 😅
I use Trailwise but I put them onto OS maps if Im doing a trip as it's way better.
