You know what would be interesting? A podcast about convicts who were falsely accused and convicted. Then, finding solutions. That would have a bigger impact on so many men rotting in jail for nothing. It just needs a strong team that is willing to do more than entertainment.
As a person who stays in Sophiatown/Westbury all he said on this podcast is totally true,he touched each and every inch of what's happening there,I personally see all these things on daily basis, jeer thanks mjita 🤝 your podcast is real real...
I'm getting this from Limpopo bra....I've stayed in Westden for a couple of year unaware of these things and Westden is not far from boma Sophiatown and now I'm back in Limps hearing these....yyooohhh yooohhh, can't trust, can't trust the skelm police.
I lived, dated and skeem coloured people in the cape town. What i noticed since i came to gauteng 10yrs ago, after 11yrs in cape town, i realised coloured in gauteng have a different mentality. Learn other kasi taals, and mix up. They have no issues mixing up with black people, while in cape town only a few would. Just dating one their own you'd be called names or that girl would chastised by own community. There's a hierarchy in coloured community, the fairer the skin, the muslim you are, and then the gamatjies! Plaas japies! Great interview, first time i see this podcast and just followed.
True, coloureds in cpt act like deputy whites especially the Muslims ones! Coloreds in EC even go to the mountain n speak xhosa n even date blacks, n in my town grahamstown there is no gangsterism in their communities
The challenge with Cape Town it's still segregated whereas in Gauteng coloured townships are next to African township..even culturally we do things the same, especially during funerals
Skeem my man, This is one of the realest interviews you ever had. The story, the openness, the delivery, you directing the interview. I salute the Pastor for coming in and sharing about his life story, we learn from those who fell and found a way to come back, find a new life and tell the story.
I sometimes say, "the God of many chances... I have seen God's face in my life, it is by God's grace..." Pastor Fortuin's testimony encompasses all that and more. My perception about life will improve tremendously. I am learning more about forgiveness, not to write off a human being, everyone deserves a second chance, etc. God has indeed the Final say! ❤❤❤🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Thank you Themba for this podcast, we are learning more about life, more than we learn from institutions of higher learning. Life is indeed a teacher! May God continue to strengthen him. I am in awe! 🥰🥰
Thanks for bringing this man of God to this podcast, he made me see things in a different way especially when he explained how we should communicate with God🥺❤
Thanks Skeem for informing and at the same time educating us about prison and life in general...Your work goes along way and we do appreciate you effort in trying to rescue someone who's bsy doing wrong side of law.
Excellent!! What a breath of fresh air, to see a son of Almighty Jah leading from the front; trusting and obeying Jah, Oh what a Joy, the angels are singing and smiling in heaven and on earth. Sir, remain resolute. Continue to give your all to Jah. A very inspiriting episode; I am thoroughly happy that I stumbled on this podcast. Much appreciated, Asante Sana straight outa the West Indies. #MustShare
All these platforms need to come together. There’s so much creative content that’s here guys. The movies, series , documentaries, books , boot champs why ain’t we seeing that it’s time we put money and create employment around these stories.
Pastor and and Skeem GP ngiyabonga kakulu, Lekker podcast, ngiya bukela da e Canada 🇨🇦, qhubeka nomsebenzi oncomekayo, ngizophinda ngiyabonga bafowethu ,kanye nomfundisi mzansi fo sho 🇿🇦 🇿🇦🇿🇦
What a powerful story...i like the relationship Pst has with his God really you are a changed man...as you were strong before im doing wrong things i think now you more stronger with your faith .keep well my brother....❤
😂 what a banger of an interview. Mr Lukhele the variety of guests is key and you nailing it. Please find a way to push to 2hrs or part 2... its crazy how this gent went through hectic shit and came out without a scratch.
This channel is informative especially so as guests speak in their native tongue; is it possible to include English captions in future? TH-cam English subtitles only work when english words are spoken. 🔥 Pod.
True Pastor what you're saying in 11:45. Gangsterism does not survive in Soweto, since the 80s. The communities fight back when they reach that point of being gatvol of being terrorised. Mob justice is the order for Gangsters. It started in the 80s, then 90s and then noughties(2000s) when mob bosses would be brutaly slaughtered by communities - ordinary mothers amd fathers who cannot deal anymore with the terror of gangsters.
I think this guy owes to society to go to areas like Eldorado n Westbury n so on, to speak to youngsters wholeheartedly to plead with them to stop cruelty n gansterism
You must bring Oom Bishop from Eden park he's also has changed and loves Jesus he spent his life in prison and covered with gangster tattoo . When I go visit Eden park he inspires so much.
😢Sho! My emotions are all over the place gawsh! Mme Clementine is such good Story teller wow!.. Beautiful eposide. So much triggers. And thanks to her there's glimmers too. 🙌🏽... Love and and light to her. She is a force of power. Much respect. Prayers for her and the girls. One day they will come around. God will definitely make a way. As For Mamohloki leena we praying for her . Nothing goes unnoticed emehlweni ka Thixo.
Sleep Gp, please ask how the life sentence prisoner ended up released or if I missed something. Mfundisi we want to hear the big testimony? How did they release you why & how?
Pastor looking clean, elegant, respectable and handsome. It's amazing how a person can change. Your job is to get into the heart of these communities and share your stories because the cycle of violence, crime, drugs and murder is a never wnding one. One gangster leader off the streets is replaced by another. Unfortunately for communities it is a never ending nightmare😢
Sorry. Not your job, it sounds forced😅 but it would be great to have most of the reformed ex-prisoners interviewed here to visit schools and communities. Perhaps a funded NGO to finance the initiatives because most of the good people being interviewed here are not formally employed.
This is a lesson for all the fathers & mothers who look at their 12-15 year old kid & think they're still children. We need to talk to them & treat/raise them according to the reality of society.
This shows perfectly that not all killers are under influence. there is no need to go to a psychiatrist n mental check-ups. People can be cruel, period. It's good that skeem gives convicts a chance to speak out somehow we society can learn from their upbringing, everybody needs to be heard maybe someone out there can be healed n transformed, coloured people r just trigger happy but how do young prevent such life
You know what would be interesting? A podcast about convicts who were falsely accused and convicted. Then, finding solutions. That would have a bigger impact on so many men rotting in jail for nothing. It just needs a strong team that is willing to do more than entertainment.

The honesty of the pastor is really touching he doesn't push blame he takes responsibility
As a person who stays in Sophiatown/Westbury all he said on this podcast is totally true,he touched each and every inch of what's happening there,I personally see all these things on daily basis, jeer thanks mjita 🤝 your podcast is real real...
