Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for creating this video of Survival of the Fattest, we love seeing people playing and enjoying the game! It's great to hear that it's got a few plays already and that you're having fun with it. I also just wanted to point out a couple of things in case they make your experience more enjoyable or easier... - For faster setup/pack-up we suggest keeping a set of forage cards with each critter deck, that way they're ready to go. We made sure we made enough for each deck so that you don't need to sort them out after playing each time. A lot of the extra room in the insert if for if you choose to sleeve the game, we wanted to make sure everything fit even with sleeves. Without sleeves, you're spoilt for choice in how you arrange then contents :) - You mentioned at one point completing a reserved recipe by visiting the Market, just a reminder that you can only complete reserved recipes at the end of season from your stash. Visiting the Market only allows you to complete 1 of the 4 face up cards with food from your hand (unless you're Flit). Also don't forget that the Stash (on your player board) is a location you can visit in the game to stash food from your hand. - For comparing critter sizes, to save you checking the rulebook you can hold the bases together of any 2 miniatures, the bigger critter will have a larger diameter base. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell at a glance, such as comparing Lottie with Rascal. - You mentioned you have the mini expansions in with your solo cards, which was correct. For 'Something Eventful' and 'Fast Food' you can leave them until you're ready to add some more options into the game. But I would recommend adding 'Extra Tricky' in straight away. It doesn't complicate the rules at all and gives each critter access to a 4th trick card in their deck, providing more strategy and possible combo's. I always include it when playing. Again, thank you so much, hope you continue to enjoy playing Survival of the Fattest 🥰
@dirtyrascalgames, thanks so much for the comment and the clarification about being able to visit your Stash when going to a location. I missed that and it will make a huge difference. Plus a huge thanks for making room for those who sleeve cards. To many publishers ignore that option. It's great to see someone thinking ahead and meeting gamers needs. Thanks again.
