Defense counsel said in their opening statement that Gary wasn’t shot in the house. She shot him at the burn pile. When you hear all the recorded conversations with Melody, and interviews of her, and how much she lies, it’s completely understandable that Law Enforcement, who evaluated all evidence, arrested and charged her, not her son. Given who his mother is, I get why he suspected her right away. He should have gotten his own defense attorney, in hindsight, but I think all the kids were in shock. And who would think a mother was evil enough to accuse her son for a murder she committed? She wanted Rusty, he had another girlfriend, and she didn’t want to lose him. Didn’t want a divorce because she wouldn’t have received as much miney. Gary was a smart attorney who had a brief, “kind of” affair many years ago. She’s was carrying on a long-term affair, publicly humiliating her husband at daughter’s wedding. They both cheated, but really not comparable. If there was more evidence that Scott did it, they would have charged him. Can’t wait for Martha Jane’s testimony about her stolen gun.

I’ve held a tenured admistrative position with all executive men with the exception being 1 of the 2 only females and this type of behavior is vehemently unprofessional business conduct; a simple traffic violation is not even okay with the specific positions these individuals hold.

You can see her in action in the Darrel Brooks (Christmas Parade Attack) the patients she showed him was astounding. I would not have been able to contain myself! The other trial is the Eye Drop murder, WI vs Jessy Kurczewski.

It can be suspected that the initial confrontation between them had begun in the house, although Gary still alive but believed injured, he’s ran outside and had been shot and killed outside either close enough for melody to be able to move the body to the burn pile, or essentially shot him whilst he ran past it. Because of the blood in the house, this is why they haven’t mentioned this theory!
It’s not suspicious whatsoever. That is what you do when checking your trail cams. If there is nothing notable to see you delete at put back in it’s bracket so there is plenty memory when something does come along. If there is something (like a big buck) of interest you pull the SD and replace it with a blank one, so it is ready to go again. Then they take the sd card with the game on it and analyze it. For example is the buck just passing through or a frequent flyer to this trail. What time of day does he pass through, is he following a doe, is he scraping, how big is he, how many tines and how long are they.

All "deleting" it is by default is a reformat meaning the data is disconnected from indexing, perceived as free storage by the device and begins to right directly over it as though it's a blank sheet of paper but it's not. *I've recovered monumental amounts of data over the last 20+ years with Stellar Phoenix and other pro level software major companies use to make tens of millions of dollars a year.* In fact, sometimes running an old "CAD" style app on a Windows XP compared to something current can do phenomenally more before Windows became such a cookie cutter style build.

You obviously don't hunt to often or know how trail cams work & that people usually look @ what's on the trail cam video & then reset it! Trail cams don't work continuously 24/7 without it needing to be charged & footage deleted to record new video! 🙁

I also have a big problem with the investigators who as soon as they arrived at the property and without taking a step back, listened to the two brothers accuse their mother of being the murderer😳 A few drops of blood is all they found… It’s Scott who has guns and can’t find one of his revolvers..

I have doubt between mother and son, we have already seen in other cases what happens when sons/daughters are parasites and parents say them: enough is enough. From what I understood, the mother had been having an affair for a long time and she and her husband lived separate lives, and probably the husband had an affair too, why would he suddenly care about it? I'm more inclined towards the son, he doesn't seem sincere to me in his testimony and his problems with money... hmmm...always ends badly.
It is standard operating procedure to delete the data on the cam if there is nothing of significance on it. You want as much memory on the card as possible on it in the case that if game comes along it starts taking pictures and as long as the game is in view. Also, if this woman was my Mom I would be suspicious from the moment I heard my Dad was missing. I would also check for missing firearms right away. My thought could be either Mom used it on him or, he used it himself. I pray there are some hunters, or spouses of hunters on this jury, that can educate the others that Scott could have deleted the SD card out of habit.

It is always interesting to see city folk move out to the country. It is so obvious they have no clue how to do anything, and yet think they are the epitome of farm/rural life! There is a HUGE difference between wanting and doing. Rural life work starts before sunrise and ends well after sunset and if it is harvest season and there is rain in the forecast you may not sleep for well over 24 hours.
Has Court Tv played Martha Jane Barton's phone call, she rung last Friday - why is this this still going on ! Martha said her gun that Roy gave her, wrapped up in a 100. Dollar bill as a present. MJ said in 'a moment of weakness' she told Melody where the gun was. Gun had never been fired. Nobody interviewed MJ, she has been listening watching Court TV, hence her speaking with the Officer- all recorded all played out in Court. From the conversation i think 2 of her guns missing, as well as 'other things' only Melody had access to, she said Melody detested Gary. Like being in time delay Court tv - weird.
Scott's only mistake to the defense is that he is 300 pounds, veteran, stayed there, had no formal job, had daddys credit card. Yet he was labouring manually in that farm being bitten by snakes. He could have demanded pay but he didn't, he agreed with the father who allowed him access to money.
Scott is very awkward. Let’s not forget he has PTSD also from being in Iraq twice he is an American hero. Plus, he was raised in a lot of trauma that doesn’t make him a murderer shame on her for pinning something on her own child. She also tried pinning this on Chris. I know as a mother I would never do that. In fact, I would defend my kids till the end even if I thought there was a chance they did it which she knows she did it, so that’s not even an option😮

Trail camera didn’t point towards the burn pile. They were able to retrieve the deleted photos… but sounds like the State needs to run a new test to prove that the photos were not overwritten.

@@tamischroeder6549 what I am unaware of is if the cyber detectives went into the deleted memory cards to retrieve the data because if the card is obtained soon enough, there's still a lot of data that can be restored and even damaged data can produce parts and pieces of images and videos that will be useful.
All "deleting" it is by default is a reformat meaning the data is disconnected from indexing, perceived as free storage by the device and begins to right directly over it as though it's a blank sheet of paper but it's not. *I've recovered monumental amounts of data over the last 20+ years with Stellar Phoenix and other pro level software major companies use to make tens of millions of dollars a year.*
In fact, sometimes running an old "CAD" style app on a Windows XP compared to something current can do phenomenally more before Windows became such a cookie cutter style build.

Damn right the Defense Attorney is more than out of line. He's not the one on trial for murder! He shouldn't be allowed to testify for him & insinuating he's caught in a lie. I also have a big problem with the investigators who as soon as they arrived at the property and without taking a step back, listened to the two brothers accuse their mother of being the murderer😳 A few drops of blood is all they found… It’s Scott who has guns and can’t find one of his revolvers..

I have doubt between mother and son, we have already seen in other cases what happens when sons/daughters are parasites and parents say them: enough is enough. From what I understood, the mother had been having an affair for a long time and she and her husband lived separate lives, and probably the husband had an affair too, why would he suddenly care about it? I'm more inclined towards the son, he doesn't seem sincere to me in his testimony and his problems with money... hmmm...always ends badly.

It is standard operating procedure to delete the data on the cam if there is nothing of significance on it. You want as much memory on the card as possible on it in the case that if game comes along it starts taking pictures and as long as the game is in view. Also, if this woman was my Mom I would be suspicious from the moment I heard my Dad was missing. I would also check for missing firearms right away. My thought could be either Mom used it on him or, he used it himself. I pray there are some hunters, or spouses of hunters on this jury, that can educate the others that Scott could have deleted the SD card out of habit.

It's obvious what the Defense Attorney is doing but it goes both ways. His Mother has access to her sons loft in the barn so she could have planted the bullets in his loft after she killed her husband.She knows that her son was @ times having money issues so what a perfect time for his Mother to murder his father! The son has his own loft over the barn & has it better than most living their but he also has chores to do but that's not a reason to kill his father & why? His Mother is going to inherit the property & money not him. He'd be worse off bc his Mother could then move her boyfriend in & possibly kick him off the property. It is always interesting to see city folk move out to the country. It is so obvious they have no clue how to do anything, and yet think they are the epitome of farm/rural life! There is a HUGE difference between wanting and doing. Rural life work starts before sunrise and ends well after sunset and if it is harvest season and there is rain in the forecast you may not sleep for well over 24 hours.

Has Court Tv played Martha Jane Barton's phone call, she rung last Friday - why is this this still going on ! Martha said her gun that Roy gave her, wrapped up in a 100. Dollar bill as a present. MJ said in 'a moment of weakness' she told Melody where the gun was. Gun had never been fired. Nobody interviewed MJ, she has been listening watching Court TV, hence her speaking with the Officer- all recorded all played out in Court. From the conversation i think 2 of her guns missing, as well as 'other things' only Melody had access to, she said Melody detested Gary. Like being in time delay Court tv - weird.

Scott's only mistake to the defense is that he is 300 pounds, veteran, stayed there, had no formal job, had daddys credit card. Yet he was labouring manually in that farm being bitten by snakes. He could have demanded pay but he didn't, he agreed with the father who allowed him access to money.

Regarding the camera in the woods, I am convinced that if it had a view of the burn pile, there was no evidence left there when Scott looked. Melody had already deleted the pictures she was in!
Trail camera didn’t point towards the burn pile. They were able to retrieve the deleted photos… but sounds like the State needs to run a new test to prove that the photos were not overwritten.

IMO The only mystery is how did she get him in the burn pit. He was huge compared to her. He had to have been shot at the burn pit. Not in the house. The stain in the house probably has nothing to do with the murder. And She was a meticulous housekeeper.
