This video popped up in my recommended probably because I'm subbed to Revenge The Fate. I remember finding them when I was in college in like 2012, I went on a big binge of discovering metal from Indonesia for some reason. Cool to see another non-Indonesian person who enjoyed their music. These guys go hard and make some great stuff that rivals the deathcore of the US/UK. One problem I always have with Indonesian metal music (including RTF) is that the clean vocals sounds a bit off, like you said. I'm also not entirely sure what is off about them though. Unclean vocals are always great though.
My request to react to is "Orchid" by Windrunner. They are a female-fronted deathcore band from Vietnam. The vocalist has amazing unclean vocals.
