Your channel is a masterpiece, you have no idea how much vocabs I have extracted just from your channel. I myself am a persian speaker and speak German and French as well and I believe that making a rigid and stable fundamentals of English is critically important to have a backbone to understand the other ones better. the one language which someone learns in the beginning becomes a servant and serves for learning the others 😅 !

I found the 'daily audio diary' idea really appealing and interesting. I'm looking forward to maybe give it a try and see if it works for me. Honestly, I'm not into diary entries or journaling kinda stuff but I think this idea that you conveyed in the video would be worth trying and would be like killing two birds with one arrow (I'm sorry if this isn't by any chance an approved and real idiom ;) ). I would be able to keep track of both the daily happenings in my life and the progress of my english speaking skills. Lastly, thank you so much for this wonderful lesson, Lucy!

Lucy, here is my home work as you mentioned in this particular session.
Here I'll try to explain you how we commonly use the past perfect in reported clauses where the reporting verb in the past with example.
My Example:- I phoned Lucy and she said the kids had had a day off school so she had taken them science museum.
Also we can use past perfect when the reporting verb is a verb of perception and is in the past tense.
My Example:- My teacher Lucy was really angry because she heard I hadn't come school on time.
