@@NicklasRinglerIIRC, Spooky among a few other Fog Whisperers left the program a few months ago after it came out that the devs never actually listened to them for feedback and had a separate consultant team for that.
Sounds like they were baited into the program under the impression they could help with feedback and possible changes that would benefit the game, but BHVR was just using them to basically be a good content creation mill/PR/well liked public face of the brand.
Otz for example stopped making tier list, feedback, and tutorial style content because of it.

Part of the problem with Plague for this challenge is her Green Puke damage doesn't (or at least didn't used to) contribute to chaser emblem. So fully infecting into m1 down gives similar chaser emblem as an instadown/chainsaw killer. You need to infect them but injure with an m1 for pips.

I know it’s a conscious choice to cut the video down to the highlights, but I do enjoy watching the full matches for these types of challenges. It really builds the tension and rewards viewers when you do get to the moments of action. It also raises the stakes for the later parts of the challenge.
That is something I will take into account. I want the viewer experience to be enjoyable.

@@ssmith65785 maybe he could make an alt youtube channel for that, this way it wont hurt the main one and if people really want longer unedited full matches, he can just upload them there without much effort so its also easier for him that way too (not having to edit them a second time and stuff), kinda like how some streamers have their main channel and then a vods channel to archive them

Because you don't lose the killer when you play them (only if you lose) I think the strat might be to use one of your better killers (GF maybe) to just get as many pips as possible. That way you get the most number of attempts late in the challenge when pipping is harder. esp since the MMR isn't tied to rank anymore.
I think this is 100% the play, better to have more attempts later then lose 2 killers in 3 games for 3 pips early
idk, he might as well use his worst killers first so they at least have a chance with perks and add-ons. Better to risk someone like Freddy with perks and Ghostface without perks than lose Ghostface with perks and have to use Freddy without.
@@shadowshedinja6124 His logic of using freddy though was "his teachables are bad" so why not save those for when you only have addons? also it's less of a risk playing your stronger people with perks, he lost freddy in 1 game with perks did using him with perks really help?
My point is it's better to have 30 attempts at something hard then it is to have 2 because you wasted a bunch early

I love Hardcore Seasons in DbD!!!!! This is the real comp I like to watch. When the killer is all alone and all odds are against you, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to win but the killer still comes through.... That's what I call hardcore!!!!!! Bring back the king of hardcore back in the WWE, Mick Foley!! Mankind and the sockoooooooooo

I think only using adept perks might be a little too harsh? Maybe allow 4 perks in ash, 3 in silver, 2 in gold and one in iridescent? Anyway, love your videos and can't wait for more of this series!

YESSSS WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SERIES AGAIN.
I’m excited for the new season! Seems it’s gonna be a good one! Proposal for future seasons though: what if you did like an “unlock” system, where you can only use the perks of killers who you get a 4k with? So example: you wanna use Lethal Pursuer, you have to get a 4K with nemesis (if he’s your first, he has no perks since none are unlocked). You can use his perks for as long as he’s “alive” in the challenge. This would encourage using more “useful” killers earlier instead of saving them for later, and adds a new level of planning for what order of killer to use
To raise the stakes even more you should use a randomizer to pick your next killer :)
So happy to see this back! You may not be a whisperer anymore Mr Loopz, but you're still one of my absolute favorite DBD content creators! Also I just can't force myself to get good at this game so watching your sweaty killer matches is always a good experience

I have very very little hours in DBD but I love your hardcore killer series! It inspired me to try out my own run with Xenomorph only a year back!
Till my dying day, I’ll say that flashlights are a mega crutch and are super OP in DBD

best trapper perks are the infinite bleed and the infinite hemorrhage if they escape the trap, you let them escape, forcing them to heal, or find help, taking them or two survivors out for a time. Outside of this challenge, use the perks to increase radius, and any perks to make skill checks faster, harder, or even regress on heals, they have no choice but to move slowly and carefully while you roam the map freely, heartbeat radius reminding them of what happens if they mis step. Trapper is fun.

@37:27 ngl since its the expose debuff applied to all survivors the timer running out and it not being applied to your swing makes sense...a nice QOL honestly would be at the buzzer for 1/4 seconds b4 and after the timer ends, any swing started in that time period would still be an insta down...just for half a sec probs fair

10:06 To my understanding, whenever you use a hatch offering for shack the hatch will ALWAYS spawn on the outside, never inside.
EDIT: Correction, as was pointed out to me, the hatch will ALMOST always spawn on the outside. There are at least two exceptions I found with Eyrie of Crows where it will spawn inside in front of the window, and Garden of Joy where it will spawn inside in front of the lockers. Everywhere else will spawn the hatch outside on the side with no window or door. Only maps I'm not quite sure about for this are Forgotten Ruins and Greenville Square since the video I saw for this came out before those maps were released. Also Nostromo will spawn the hatch at the smaller ship wreckage in the corner of the map since it's considered "shack" for the purpose of the hatch offering.
Every map has a set hatch spawn for shack when using offering like its map dependent on where it spawns
