It used to make me so stinking mad that not one single guitar magazine gave Ronni Le Tekro any love. He is such an influence on so many people, but he is relatively unknown. He’s in my top three. Bad. Ass.
well, maybe he is happy in his ecosystem...most interviews are from Norway...almost all... he have talent...maybe he did not care so much about the superficial US market and life style ...
One of the best without a doubt. The guy has his own studio, and a black belt in karate! I don’t understand, where these guys find the time, and have the drive to be great in so many things... hats off...TNT should have been bigger, but in the 80’s it was almost impossible to be huge, unless you were from U.S.A (No pun intended), or England. Peace from Finland!
Say what you will but every riff from TNT debut lp are a fucking monster, each one you wish you came up w when you hear them. And he's a classy shredder. For me sick talent.
Definitely one of the best studio guitarists,.His solo writing is amazing,.lacks a little bit to be desired when it comes to improvisation though,.But you can't have it all unless you're Eddie Van Halen
I'm just starting to learn Norwegian. This does me no good. Damn, one of my favorite bands from back then. Just stumbled on their videos on youtube. "Tonight I'm falling for you" yeah baby!!!
I cant believe he was ever in TNT. Everything after Seven Seas sucked.- He has that Uli Roth magical type ora about him. AS WE ALL KNOW - ULI ROTH was waaay before Yngwie and so under appreciated just like Ronnie.
@badmutha07 Liv Grete (ex Biathlon star) is more into Frenchmen.....but im sure she found him funny. Just when he says his mom let his hair grow, and that the hair is the souls antenna.....thats where Brynjar (bold one) shoots in "Thanks...". And the host after the laughter has quiet down abit says: "Can you get our signals,Melling?" Real funny stuff :)
yes.. anyone can do it except no one is.. so that makes him unique. Besides it's not a competition.... I'm SO bored of these childish comments ZZZZZZZZ
I won't dispute that Ronni is one of the best in the world, but it's kind of strange that whoever made this video is simultaneously a huge fan (he must be right?) and at the same time incapable of writing the name of his idol right. His name is Le Tekrø. Rolf Ågrim “Ronni Le” Tekrø.
Well, as he says, he doesn't want to be the fastest. They are both fast, but imo Le Tekrø creates better music (that's my oppinion ofc). Better riffs, and better solos. But that's me ;)
@@tyjoisacoward4010 I know, I'm not questioning that, I'm saying that IN THIS VIDEO it is misspelled, it's written "Tekerø", not "Tekrø". But that's fine, we all know it's "Tekrō".
@Patriceorange What you're saying is total bullshit. You have obviously never been to Norway. I'm Norwegian and I can tell you right away that the viking stereotype of blonde hair/blues eyes is utter crap and totally false. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there are PLENTY of ethnic Norwegian people with darker features such as brown eyes and dark hair. The natural hair color of Norwegians ranges all across the spectrum from light blonde to black. The blonde hair/ blues eyes thing is a MYTH.
What?
Even though I've seen Reb Beach, Vinnie Moore, John Norum, Nuno Bettencourt and many other virtuosos live, but standing two meters from Ronni's double Marshall stacks packed the most insane punch I've ever heard coming out of a guitar. Sure, he's not a technical scale and arpeggio virtuoso like Petrucci, but his style of guitar playing resonates with me the most.
Verdens beste gitarist no 1 er django reinhardt! No 2 Ritchie Blackmore.

I met him today. he played for me. great guy
I love how he implements his machine gun style into his solos,.Always loved that
Have no idea what they're saying, but there is some serious chemistry going on between Tekro and that old chick. Guy with the tuba is hillarious.
That old chick you are referring to is Liv Grete Skjelbreid. Former biathlon. She is 47 now. So not so old in this clip,😉
"The hair is the antennas of the soul" lolz
"Thanks", said the bald guy. LOL
Ronnie has that Uli Roth look.
I love TNT. I still own thier albums.
To bad this isn't in English. I'd love to watch it.
One of the best without a doubt.
The guy has his own studio, and

I just love people who carve their own path, don't stick to a formula. Ronni is a great inspiration to me.
I add him as one of my favorite guitar players, he has muted speed tapping/picking technique which I've never seen used by other guitarists
Say what you will but every riff from TNT debut lp are a fucking monster, each one you wish you came up w when you hear them. And he's a classy shredder. For me sick talent.
One of the best guitarists in the world according to Dee Snider of Twisted Sister
and who is Dee Snider??? like you are saying Jimmy Hendrix
+P00TANARA Jimi. Not Jimmy. And Dee Snider is from Twisted Sister.
the former front man from Twisted Sister, you stupid shit
Definitely one of the best studio guitarists,.His solo writing is amazing,.lacks a little bit to be desired when it comes to improvisation though,.But you can't have it all unless you're Eddie Van Halen
And that kind of says it all doesnt it..ha.Dee Snider=Twisted sister=The worst band that has ever excisted. But Ronni is fun but good guitar player? No.
I would so love subtitles in this piece. Can't understand a word of norwegian! Hails from Finland! :D
I'm just starting to learn Norwegian. This does me no good. Damn, one of my favorite bands from back then. Just stumbled on their videos on youtube. "Tonight I'm falling for you" yeah baby!!!
5 år senere.,snakker du norsk nå?
He has written some pretty good stuff
Ronni Le Tekrø er HELT KONGE PÅ GITAR!
YEAH!!
He is amazing. Very underrated. If he was in one of the better known bands, he would be rated among the best.
So fun!
that sounded cool, the guitar feat tuba(?) loved it!
I saw him with TNT. They opened for Loudness
fuck i love him.. i saw him in Lillestrøm for 3 days ago, he playd with his tounge and stuff, he is amazing:D
No he did'nt, that's a trick ;)
I wish I could take lessons from him!
Great guy. Yes funny as hell.
Machine gunning is the easy part, phrasing and feeling is the hard part.
I cant believe he was ever in TNT. Everything after Seven Seas sucked.- He has that Uli Roth magical type ora about him. AS WE ALL KNOW - ULI ROTH was waaay before Yngwie and so under appreciated just like Ronnie.
Kudos til deg ^_^

Technical copy-guy blackmore-eddie-brian may sorry! BUT i love TNT and Ronni
everyones could be called a copy =, influence is everywere even if we dont realize, thats how music has progressed and carried on.
Can’t be a “copy” of 3 people combined, it’s called influence
@@axlh.1827 or rip off..what’s the matter with you guys lol..he hasn’t revolutionised the rock guitar world like Hendrix Malmsteen Eddie Van Halen did
@Patriceorange
yeah
When was this? What year
Dette er tidenest flaueste intervju. Ronnie er en helt middelmådig gitarist.
AWESOME! What?

Tuba skulle vært i rock for lenge sia =D
Uli John Roth's lost brother?

@espenjoelle
Den kommentaren likte jeg svært godt!
hehe, han e go og fjern i allefall:P
It's "Tekrø" not "Tekerø".
Sub titles please 🙏 !
@Patriceorange
ronni, me and my brotha is the only ones^^
@badmutha07 yhe tuba guy haven't played for 15 years
“Realy”...
Yngwie Malmsteen - eat bricks!!!
His name is Tekrø, not Tekerø ;)
HAHA lo så jeg grein:'D
hahaha. ;D
He says that hair is the antenna of the soul. The bald guy replies "thank you"... Haha :)
Is that Jon Anderson lead vocalist of Yes doing the interview? 🧐 just kidding! 🤣
The correct is Le Tekero or Le Tekro? Thanks
Le Tekrø
@@tyjoisacoward4010 It's written as Le Tekerø

FRI RETTSHJELP AS :D
Kvalm person.
I am sure Yngwie would not concur! lol
You must be a huge fan if you don't even know how to spell his name. Steve Vai, I'm assuming.
"..på noen hundre tusener.." - for en forferdelig fyr. Han er jo helt middelmådig.
brynjar meling eier på tuba da!
Its not a "real" strat though, its an ESP :) (Same brand as Hetfield uses - not the same guitar model though :P)
Can't this be in english>>? I don;t speak Norwegian
your written english sucks, buddy..
He's using a wig????
eh?
Jeg speller egentlig vel egentlig mye egentlig trommefraser
Nothing special? Are you kidding? I seen him live. He is a monster! It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about.
Ronni is a great guy and lots of fun but theres nothing original about his playing. The licks he shows here Eddie van halen did 40 years ago.
@Patriceorange

nei... mattias ekelundh er god
Amazing?
Not really.
Sorry, not even close to the world's best, he's quite average by today's standards. Really not impressive. fast, but not the best.

Anton Froloff Sounds like an Eddie van halen copy. The licks he showed here Eddie played in 1976.
Were you in a backyard in Pasadena in 76 ? First VH record was in 78. Le Tekro sounds nothing like Eddie.
