I’m in my 40s and was very much into this album in high school. It’s by far my favorite RHCP album. Every song is great. I also really enjoyed the funky monks movies they released that documents the making of the album. Takes me back.

It's even possible to make a second list with 10 more riffs like: Power of Equality (my favorite riff from the album) Soul to Squeeze Blood Sugar Sex Magik I Could Have Lied Righteous and the Wicked Naked In the Rain Apache Rose Peacock Sikamikanico Little Miss Lover Castles Made of Sand (The last two are Jimi Hendrix covers but I really like John Frusciante's approach in the songs to match with the band's sound)
Can also say props to John for knowing how to use restraint and let the songs breathe. He has talked about how he felt he overplayed on mothers milk. Mothers milk was a great album too but this one showed how the songwriting matured. One of if not my all time favs
I'm curious on your pedal chain, you have the Past FX CE coming right after the guitar? I have that as the 2nd to last before my amp. CE-1 to Reverb to Amp. I only ask because I purchased the box of rock and I'm just curious about your order. Thanks.
I always have the modulation pedals last in the chain but before the amp (don’t use fx loop) so box of rock before the chorus. Box of rock is an amazing pedal, enjoy!

The outro to Sir Psycho Sexy is one of my favorite chord progressions ever, love that. The whole album is amazing, but that outro is is perfect.
