What's up Shane , hope your doing well lit my Witches Brew tonight.. Great throw ..got it in a big Kitchen and can smell it everywhere... nice Spicy sweet earthy scent..... gonna light the Mystic Moon tommorow.
Thank you SO much for sharing this! I've not ever been to a Yankee Village but hope to some day. Your videos always make me smile in the morning while I'm waking up with coffee!
I hope so too, Stephanie. I filmed this short bit for the Flash Drives, but I said heck, and just uploaded it. I'm glad I did... I miss making these light-going style videos. Thanks again, Stephanie!!
This was just awesome. Love seeing the little nooks and crannies. Can't wait for the day when I relocate to New England and get to go there whenever I want!
Thank you thank you thank you. I make videos for anyone who wants to watch, but it means quite a deal more when I can actually help someone experience a place that they, for one reason or another, cannot visit. It's a very special feeling, so thank you for sharing!!
I really appreciate that, James. I've finally decided that I'm not going to hold back on these easy-breezy vlogs. I miss them... it's how it was when I first started the channel. Thanks again, James!
@@TheCandleEnthusiast yeah for sure I really hope you have a great Halloween Season...I ordered .. Mystic Moon and Witches Brew the day you did the Halloween kick-off at the Flagship Yakee Store in South Deerfield..but I'm not lighting them till October 1st...I read online a few people said the Throw on the Mystic Moon wasn't the greatest ..I hope mine is....if not I will light it in a small room...take care Shane ....Thanks again. ...
Thanks for this look ahead! We appreciate the beginning of the 'seasons' with the June candle previews. We don't at all mind the overlapping of Fall, Halloween, Christmas. The question is, "How far can the Holiday season be extended toward June '21?" Yeah, let's not get ahead of ourselves that much. Next time, at the Village, maybe there will be a foot of snow on the ground. B & K
Yeah its crazy. The candle community seemed to start Halloween extra early this year. I think it was because of Covid... everyone needed some Halloween cheer. In any case, there's still tons of Autumn and Halloween content coming up. Also, another trip to The Yankee Candle Village mid October for the Christmas releases. Thanks!!
I thought I was finally going to get to come up there this year but now we cannot but I do look forward to being able to visit Yankee candle village in person one day soon. I always love your walk-throughs and you pointing out the special touches it makes us feel like we’re there
Hopefully you can make a trip soon, Lara. If things cool down with the world, January and July are always a great time to visit (Semi Annual Sale). But even February through April is good as well; that's the tie of the year when the mornings and evenings are really quiet. But until then, I promise to take a visit to vlog every so often now that it's open again. Usually my next trip this time of the year is mid October for the Christmas releases. Also, I really appreciate what you said about the walk-throughs. I've finally decided that I'm going to make more of these easy-breezy vlog type videos. Hopefully they'll me more like 18-25 minutes. I really miss how it was when I first started... just me, my iPhone and complete spontaneity. Thanks Lara!
@@Vlogsoup Someday when you go to Deerfield, see also "Old Deerfield". There is, quite simply, no other place like it anywhere. Houses dating to the 1600's. You can tour some of them, visit the gift shop, stay at the Inn. If there was one place in New England worth driving across the country, to me that would be Deerfield!
VexedFe Very true, Eric. But let me ask, was that a statement made about the Village, but also secretly about me? Aww 😂. Kidding. Sincerely, thanks for always supporting my videos... the edited ones, the lives, the goods and the bads... even if they’ve been spaced months apart at times. No joke, when I’m editing, I always say to myself, “would Eric enjoy this? 🤔”. If I think yes, then I know it’s going to be a good upload. 👍
Thanks Karen! Your comment truly means the world to me. As long as people continue to watch AND also feel like they're there with me, I'll never stop uploading.
I definitely know the feeling. I try to hold back until at least the 2nd week in November, but it's really difficult some years. Halloween seems to start earlier every year, which always makes me crave Christmas that much more. Thanks for watching and commenting, Maria!!
Loved this video, I felt like I was there, please do more Christmas or Thanksgiving videos. Your are very detailed in everything your present but spooky is not my jam, sorry. Halloween and I broke up years ago, but Harvest or Autumn themed stuff make me smile... oooh maybe Plimouth Plantation tour? Or Corn maize, with Autumn candle review after? Food for thought ;-)
TRF I hesitated big time before uploading this. I shot this and edited it on my iPhone. I’ve been trying to save only by best work for this channel, but after realizing how stagnant it has been, I said heck it. I think I’ll be doing more of these easy-breezy vlogs more often. Thanks Tim!
So vert sweet of you to say! Thank you!! One day maybe I'll get this channel out to your neck of the woods. That would be a dream. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love when you take us along on your journeys.....It is the peak of fall here so in a couple of weeks I will be ready for snow and Christmas...I am really appreciating the little things this year because so many things have changed in our lives in 2020...Aww....Was that really a picture of your dad?....now I am teary...There is so much heritage in that store and you bring a wonderful element to link with the Kittredge family.
Thanks so much, Ann. I know what you mean about Christmas... especially since Halloween seems to start earlier and earlier every year. And yes, that was my dad. That photo must have been taken on the eve of Christmas Eve in 2015. We had a beautiful dinner at Chandler's Restaurant that night (a restaurant that was on the YCV property). Lots more to come. Thanks again!!
Hi Shane, Thank you so much for this wonderful mini tour. I was having a rough day, and this glimpse into the magical worlds inside Yankee Candle made me smile.
So sorry you were having a rough day, but the fact that my little video could help is incredibly humbling and meaningful. Thanks for sharing... and keep smiling!
I appreciate it, Rachel. I want every video to be too special and to have "purpose", but I really miss this style of vlogging. It's like how it was back when I first started the channel. More like this to come 👍
Thank you so much for saying that! As long as people watch these vicarious little experiences, I'll never stop making them. More vlog style videos to come. Thanks again!!

Hi there Shane. Thanks for the Walk around the Yankee Candle Village. It’s an awesome place. I hope you’re doing well. 😊
For someone who lives in Germany and can't go there myself this is so cool to see. And you as a tour guide is just perfect

It is always fun to see the Village and how, while some things have necessarily changed because of the virus, some things also never change.
