There's no padding on the big plastic ear speakers, so it hurts your ears. There's no good way to lay down without causing pain or discomfort. The buttons are on one ear and are very easy to press on accident. So you have to be careful how you lay or itll skip around your music and videos. The band is so tight around your head that it left marks on my forehead in the morning. The only upside was this bonnet was extra big on the inside. I do think her team doesn’t know her target audience because the sound is all over the place. However, I do think that’s part of the process for a new artist finding their sound. I wasn’t too much of a fan of her earlier singles because I know how vocally talented she is which made me hesitant to entertain her latest single. I did listen to pray it away and I feel it’s her best vocal performance on a single yet. The lyrics, the subject matter, the layering, felt more genuine and personal to the artist instead of a generic pop record

I think the reason why Norman and Chloe get backlash is because of the type of fan base they have, it is more parasocial than Ella mai and Her. People don't feel as entitled over them, their personal life decisions, what type of music they release, their public image etc. For Chloe, she has always been an interactive figure with her fans (also Doja), having instagram lives, directly communicating with fans etc. Being intentional with the relationship you cultivate with your audience is an element PR and management need to consider more.

I think something to remember is that these artists have different fan bases. A person who likes Normani may not be a fan of Danileigh(and for good reason too) and vice versa. Ok, I caved and I got this sonic bonnet... sadly sis it ain't it. There's no padding on the big plastic ear speakers, so it hurts your ears. There's no good way to lay down without causing pain or discomfort. The buttons are on one ear and are very easy to press on accident. So you have to be careful how you lay or itll skip around your music and videos. The band is so tight around your head that it left marks on my forehead in the morning. The only upside was this bonnet was extra big on the inside. This just wasn't it 😕

I do think her team doesn’t know her target audience because the sound is all over the place. However, I do think that’s part of the process for a new artist finding their sound. I wasn’t too much of a fan of her earlier singles because I know how vocally talented she is which made me hesitant to entertain her latest single. I did listen to pray it away and I feel it’s her best vocal performance on a single yet. The lyrics, the subject matter, the layering, felt more genuine and personal to the artist instead of a generic pop record

People have selective outrage mostly because they don't like Chloé because there are several artists that have collabed with Chris since 2009. I think the reason why Norman and Chloe get backlash is because of the type of fan base they have, it is more parasocial than Ella mai and Her. People don't feel as entitled over them, their personal life decisions, what type of music they release, their public image etc. For Chloe, she has always been an interactive figure with her fans (also Doja), having instagram lives, directly communicating with fans etc. Being intentional with the relationship you cultivate with your audience is an element PR and management need to consider more.
Normani doesn't have much of a presence online though. I definitely think it has to do with the type of fanbase.
