Well done! You said you're stuggling with A and Ä. Maybe it helps you to remember if I tell you that A is like U in English word "cut" and Ä is like A in English word "cat". It makes it easier because as you know, Finnish is almost phonetic, so every letter is always pronounced the same way. Think about how "Mercedes" is pronounced in English. There you pronounce E in 3 different ways in the same word. In Finnish E is always like in English word "get". And about the letter Y, it's just like German Ü or almost like French U.
in finnish you have to pronounce every letter, so for example if there is double k in a word you must pronounce two k.s. its very important because there are many words like these (kokko = bonfire, koko = size ) 😄👍
You already know quite a bit Finnish. Good job! I would say that one of the most important things you should practice is your pronunciation of the letter Y. I know it must be difficult since the sound is something you don't really have in English. But I noticed that the only times I had trouble understanding you was with the words that had Y in them😁 You pronounce it more as an U. Try to think of a high school stoner who is super high and goes DUUUUUDE!! That is more like Y in Finnish 😆 Anyway, keep up the good work - your skills are already impressive for a foreigner👏👏
