- What is the legend of "Urashima Taro", a Japanese fairy tale?
As a reward for saving the turtle, Urashima Taro is taken into the sea and is entertained by Otohime and others at Ryugu (Dragon Palace). When Urashima Taro attempts to return home, he is given a ball-shaped box with a reminder that he must not open it. When he arrives home, he finds that far more years have passed than he had imagined in Ryugu, and in his disappointment, he opens the box and turns into an old crane or an old human being.
This train was named after the Tamatebako, a box of rice pails that appears in the legend of Urashima Taro in Japan.
After the train arrived at the station, the doors opened and a mist of smoke went up above the train.
