Tendai Biti in court- Pindai Dube reports

The lawyer for Tendai Biti says the Zimbabwean opposition leader has been detained at Harare Central Police Station.
Biti, along with three others, had sought asylum in Zambia.
Police believe he masterminded last week's violent demonstrations in the capital

Nothing honourable about Biti, he was in the GNU gvt and was minister of financefor 5 years and he looted for himself. Left MDC unceremoniously, sought sanctions against poor Zimbabweans, declared election results of the election before counting and verification process was concluded, incited violence after the elections and made sure he stayed safe in his house with his kids whilst putting others in danger, now tried to sneak out of the country to build his case to convince the world that Zimbabwe is not safe so sanctions could be renewed. Biti should tell the truth of why he was sneaking out of the country when there was a warrant of arrest for him. Why does he not want to answer a few questions on what he did. Morgan Tsvangirai was arrested countless times for things he did not do but he didn't create a scene to convince the international world that Zimbabwe was not safe. Saka the people who voted for him in his constituency are not safe?????!!!!! So why not stand for them as promised . Biti tell us who is advising you? Who are you working with that you were going to meet outside the borders of Zimbabwe? If you were headed to Kenya, who were you meeting and why? Stop lying nxaaaaa!!!!
