This song gives me one of the strongest emotional responses ever. I am bailing like a baby from joy. And Tommy is like the movie: magical and fantastic!🏆💥💯🎸❤Tks for your nice reactions to Tommy ❤
Me and my brother looked at the movie so many times that it was unwatchable since it was VHS. And read the book as well (which continues when the first movie ends).
I saw the movie as a kid. I like the movie and I love the song.🥰 Thank you for this great and funny reaction.👍😉 (I'm sorry I missed your premiere yesterday.)
I try to catch Your premiere So I can't,but Now I am here to watch😁Great singing by You 😛😅this Blue drop in Tommys Hand was last piece of Fantasy😅Sorry,This was in the ending of the movie😁just want you to know 😂Love Your jokes in black 😂
The reason for the fade out is that the original fades in and then out (to form the effect of being neverending, we just tune in to that part and tune out).
I love especially "Bastien's Flight" in Tommy's version - it would also fit for a spaceship scene, so you can imagine this when you struggle with the dragon. And the way you wear the diadem you rather remind me of Peter Ustinov as the roman emperor "Nero" than a princess 😉.
_Star Trek: the Motion Picture_ was released in a "director's cut" version later that restored some scenes that made the story make sense. And the movie/book is a love letter to imagination and the joy of reading books. But another Michael Ende book, _Momo and the Battle for Time_ has a better and shorter story, and that too was made into a movie.
Lol you're one funny guy, and I love your Tommy reactions! I have 4 sons, youngest is 31 and they loved Neverending Story and every other movie you mentioned! I really don't like going to work on Fridays, I get up at 4 a.m. MST and by the time I get to Tommy's drops, it is finishing! Thanks for another fun reaction!
I love the way Tommy did this. The movie was almost considered a B movie, because it was made in Germany and some of the special effects was not that good. But still it became insanly popular. If you look at the score on imdb it has 7.3, not that far away from another movie in the same genre, E.T. with 7.9. The popular soundtrack from the Neverending story gave it the push it needed. Giorgio Moroder was involved in the music and almost everything he did at the time seemed to turn into pure gold. He was the Max Martin of the 80s and a lot of his music ended up in huge movies like Midnight express, Flashdance, Scarface, Top gun and so on. 😊
OldSkuleNerd, you had already decided from the first note in advance not to like the song. You showed that in a clear way right at the beginning of the song. No, not my favorite song either... and yet I'm Swedish!!
As I stated before, Tommy does give us neverending good music every week.

Ohhhhh, I was wondering…now I know, coffee is to blame! Well, even if you weren’t impressed by the movie you have to be impressed by Tommy! ❤

Better let Tommy sing.. 🙂
Still got the old cassette with Limahl 😀
You're even more funny when you've had your coffee before the reactions, you should do it every now and then.

His name was in fact Bastian
You are so funny! I like it when you don't shut up.... 🤣
I think my problem is that I DO get your jokes.
😆
IMO that movie was way too hyped, I never got through the whole movie either, and I usually like all kind of movies.... The song is a classic though.
Compliance 😂
