Bro help. How often do the new vfs slots become available and how much does the whole visa processing take on average. I have an appointment letter for which joining date is 1 October 2024 and the earliest possible date for Hyderabad visa application center is 19 September and chennai is 23 September. I am from Hyderabad so can i apply for other centers like bangalore or mumbai or delhi? Thank you for your help

Its my 2nd try to get appointment earlier i applied for September intake at that time also I didn’t got my appointment even after waiting for 4 months and coz of not getting appointment my university canceled my bachelors contract for September intake and transferred it to next April intake. @Ponty Singh After 12th November I guess no one has received any slots. Now slots will be open in January mainly for January and February. I understand the frustration but for now you can only wait.

@Sanha Arora thank you. The issue that you are facing everyone is facing the same issue. From past 3-4 days APS website is down. I guess they are fixing the issue and it might be resolved really soon. Till then if you have already submitted documents. Do not worry verification process won’t get affected.

@MR. KULWINDER SINGH You have to mail actively to VFS or call them, only they can fix this issue from their backend. Or One thing you can do is use O in place of 0 and get an appointment and of on visa appointment date. If they ask explain your issue, if not go with your appointment. However, do remember there is some certain risk to it. So take this decision accordingly.
Sir , I've applied for APS certification on 07 October ,and the fee was successfully debited . neither i got my certificate nor any notifications on the ID . Could you pls tell me what would be the issue ?
@Alka thakur I guess before 10th or 12th October everyone has received their APS certificates. In your case mail 6-7 times a day to APS telling them it has already been more than 50 days and it was mentioned we will receive our certificate in 30 days. Give my certificate fast as my appointment is getting delayed and If you can't give me APS certificate. Issue a report letter. So that I can book an appointment slot at VFS.
I had registered and done the payment on the APs India site 3 days ago. After that I tried to access my account section the site overloaded message is displaying and I am not able to move forward with my application. Do you have any about resolving this issue. Please help me
@ashleyfex Yes from 3-4 days everyone is facing this issue. It is some backend issue from their hosting provider. Don’t worry as soon as issues gets resolved you can proceed. Or if you have taken print out of your submission form. You can attach everything and post your documents. It will save your time.
Hi Akshun, do you know whether Bangalore visa application centre accepts the visa fee through cash or only demand draft is allowed? I come under Bangalore and have booked an appointment. I wanted to know if I need to get demand draft for visa fee of 75 euro or if I can pay in cash
@Parth Panchal you have to reschedule it within 48 hrs of booking your appointment. If 48hrs has passed, you will still see the option but can’t reschedule the appointment.
@Priyanshi Singh Denmark is a different country. You might be mistakenly selecting Denmark vfs section that why Denmark Visa Application Center comes up. If you have confusion in selecting, I’ll suggest you always follow the first step in the video to open German VFS application section .

@Priyanshi Singh after 12th November no one has received any slot mails for Delhi VFS. You might receive in first week of January when they open slots for January and February.

@Shubham Sharma Yes it is an common issue. A lot of students are facing this issue. The legit way to solve this issue is to mail and call vfs. As they are the only one who can solve this issue. You have to proactively engage with them.
Hii akshun,i contacted Berlin embassy from the mail id that you provided ke earlier and they said that my application documents already reached to berlin immigration office now i wanted to know how much time does it takes from berlin immigration office to complete my remaining process and btw it's been 65 days already since my vfs appointment date and my result is still pending.Thanks.
@Peddi Sasikala if you have received mail that your process in Germany is completed. You get your decision really soon. Or you can also call embassy and tell them its been 65 days please tell me my status.

@aarushi kumar mail your college that have they received any email regarding your degree verification from APS. If yes, then do the needful fast. If not. Mail APS every day to either give them you your certificate or issue a report letter for the same. So that you can book a visa app

@TUSHAR VYAS you will only receive payment confirmation mail. After that either you might get a call/mail for verification. If not directly you will get mail, that your Verification is done and now we have dispatched your certificate.

Hey, if you are confident that that you will receive your admission letter till the day of your appointment then you can book an appointment now or else you can wait a but more than apply for visa.

@Abhishek Suri Do not worry just mail them your scanned passport size photo with your token number. They will acknowledge your mail and inform you if you need to do anything else.
@@monika_punia Earlier it use to take time but now they fix this comparatively fast. you can both email them or call them. the fastest I have seen is 2 days.
Have u got ur issue solved? I am currently facing the same. When i contacted vfs they told me the problem might have occurred because My APS details may not be forwarded to the vfs office which should have been done by the APS team. Don’t know what to do in order to solve it faster.

@Kanchan Bhatnagar I suppose currently 12th November person received slot booking option. If the current scenario goes on you might receive a mail after VFS has opened slots in bulk for January 2023 or February 2023. In that you will have option of both January and February to select. After APS the visa is getting really fast, like 1 month and in some cases 20 days.

@Ups Arora Yes PTE is accepted. However it is always advisable to mail embassy regarding which language documents is accepted before your appointment day.

D student visa : scholarship holders, postDoc study 2. D student visa: students with APS certificate I want to know that whether I have to apply through category 1 or through category 2 after receiving APS certificate.
@lalit kumar yes after 1st nov it is mandatory for all Indian students. As of now only while you file visa application you need APS. But future universities will also start asking APS before application process. The only category which do not need a APS is, if you get full funded recognised scholarship
@Shana If you were called by embassy to have a face-to-face interview. Approval mail to submit passport usually comes the very next day or maximum in 3-4 days.
According to the APS centre, Out of India/internaional school certificate holders and out of India University degree holders don't need to apply for an APS certificate. So how can they book an appointment for a student visa interview without the APS certificate at VFS Global? Which category to select to book a visa appointment?
@Pranab Saha yes it is true, if you are an International certificate holder you don't need a APS certificate. However VFS has not made a special category for the same. I would suggest you to mail VFS and embassy/consulate. They might give a separate appointment letter for your appointment.

APS is taking time, but if you get admit from an university, they might help speed up your process. but you have to talk with the University first. 3. you can not apply for visa appointment with APS certificate. 4. you can apply for slot after APS, still the time prediction can't be given. so you have to hope, till your appointment date you receive an admit. 5. it depend case-to-case, but with APS the process is fast. 6. it is best to join reach Germany 10-15 days before your lecture starts.

@Shrey Bhardwaj No Now both Bachelors and Master need to book same category. As you have APS certificate, you need to book under APS certificate and not APS report letter. APS report letter is a different category which I have explained in the video.

@Parth Panchal you have to reschedule it within 48 hrs of booking your appointment. If 48hrs has passed, you will still see the option but can’t reschedule the appointment.

@Priyanshi Singh Denmark is a different country. You might be mistakenly selecting Denmark vfs section that why Denmark Visa Application Center comes up. If you have confusion in selecting, I’ll suggest you always follow the first step in the video to open German VFS application section .

@Shubham Sharma Yes it is an common issue. A lot of students are facing this issue. The legit way to solve this issue is to mail and call vfs. As they are the only one who can solve this issue. You have to proactively engage with them.

@TUSHAR VYAS you will only receive payment confirmation mail. After that either you might get a call/mail for verification. If not directly you will get mail, that your Verification is done and now we have dispatched your certificate.

Hey, if you are confident that that you will receive your admission letter till the day of your appointment then you can book an appointment now or else you can wait a but more than apply for visa.

@Kanchan Bhatnagar I suppose currently 12th November person received slot booking option. If the current scenario goes on you might receive a mail after VFS has opened slots in bulk for January 2023 or February 2023. In that you will have option of both January and February to select.
After APS the visa is getting really fast, like 1 month and in some cases 20 days.

I have applied for Master study programme in German public university.
While applying for visa appointment VFX portal is showing sub categories that are
1. D student visa : scholarship holders, postDoc study
2. D student visa: students with APS certificate
I want to know that whether I have to apply through category 1 or through category 2 after receiving APS certificate.

German public universities have no tuition fee for master programs.
So is it mandatory for everyone to all for APS certificate.
@lalit kumar yes after 1st nov it is mandatory for all Indian students. As of now only while you file visa application you need APS. But future universities will also start asking APS before application process.
The only category which do not need a APS is, if you get full funded recognised scholarship

@Shana If you were called by embassy to have a face-to-face interview. Approval mail to submit passport usually comes the very next day or maximum in 3-4 days.
According to the APS centre, Out of India/internaional school certificate holders and out of India University degree holders don't need to apply for an APS certificate. So how can they book an appointment for a student visa interview without the APS certificate at VFS Global? Which category to select to book a visa appointment?
@Pranab Saha yes it is true, if you are an International certificate holder you don't need a APS certificate. However VFS has not made a special category for the same. I would suggest you to mail VFS and embassy/consulate. They might give a separate appointment letter for your appointment.

Hello Sir, pls help me with the timeline as I am quite confused.
1. I have sent my docs for APS verification a week ago. If ideally it's taking 3-4 months for APS verification. I will get it around Late June-Early July.
2. I have now shortlisted unis for winter sem., and will start applying to unis in around 2 weeks time and for some unis enrollment will start in April- May, so will apply accordingly.
3. Now, can I apply for visa appointment without APS? considering the fact that visa booking process is taking a long time.
4. If not, if I apply for visa appointment the day I receive my APS, lets say in July, without college offer letter. How long do you think would it take me to book my slot? and do you think it's a good idea to book without offer letter in hand to minimise timeline.
5. Once I appear on the appointment day and submit the docs, how long would it take to get the visa in hand?
6. Am I thinking right? What all can be done to minimise the overall time if I want to join my semester in Sep-Oct. Any tips would be beneficial.

1. APS is taking time, but if you get admit from an university, they might help speed up your process. but you have to talk with the University first.
3. you can not apply for visa appointment with APS certificate.
4. you can apply for slot after APS, still the time prediction can't be given. so you have to hope, till your appointment date you receive an admit.
5. it depend case-to-case, but with APS the process is fast.
6. it is best to join reach Germany 10-15 days before your lecture starts.

@Abhishek Suri Yes you need to increase your blocked amount to 11208 euro. It is mandatory after 1st October 2022.

@Shrey Bhardwaj No Now both Bachelors and Master need to book same category. As you have APS certificate, you need to book under APS certificate and not APS report letter. APS report letter is a different category which I have explained in the video.

@@ranjnakhurmi6694 Merko APS ki need nhi hai, me already visa appointment de ke a chuka hu. Mere Friends ne 1st week of October me APS ke liye apply kiya tha. Un sab ko 1 Nov se 7 Nov. Un sab ko dates mil gyi 3-4 hours me.

@The Diff Def No they won’t ask for summer enrolment letter because the summer enrolment will not start in February. However, They will ask extension from you.
