Linda you will never wear us out showing your beautiful garden. I am in zone 6 in saint louis and the weather has finally started to cool down. I can’t wait to start working on my garden. I am having a new fence installed and then be able to put in my potager garden and wildflower meadow.
The containers on the plant stands are stunning. Love the colors and different textures and the way you staged them. We've cooled down considerably in the Washington DC area but very little rain. It is delightful being outside in the garden and opening windows. Hope you get a break soon.

HAD TO DRIVE FROM HERE IN PENSACOLA TO MY BEST COLLAGE ROOMMATE /Best friend her mom of 98 passed away so left quickly to Chattanooga Tn. For funeral and stayed with my bestie lil sis and helped her to recreate two flower beds I think I planted at least 30perrineal plants for her and not used to that clay soil however I had hammer saw etc.. that helped great fun 2 week visit but I contracted poison ivy when I got home it showed it’s wickedness but first thing I did was water all my new 6 month plantings it’s very dry now and still in 90’s mid 80’s hoping Hurricane Ian brings us on gulf coast much needed rain!!! Thanks so much Linda everything looks wonderful and after being gone us gardeners always scurry to check out our planting beds!!! I will highly recommend to you the SAMSUNG WASHER I REPLACED 2Years ago first got a whirlpool did not like had Lowe’s come get and got the Samsung which deep fills several cycles well it’s been great!!!!!
We are in NC and have some cooler weather this week stemming from a hurricane. However we aren't taking a direct hit. So very thankful for whatever rain we get.

We had our first frost warnings yesterday so I took my myrtle topiaries and my small boxwood topiaries in! I even turned the heat on! I hope you get some relief from the heat soon but I wish it was still warm here! I’m not a fan of fall because I hate to see the warm season end! I miss “ living outside” surrounded by my beloved flowers!
Much cooler near Manchester in the north of England. Some rain finally. We are renowned for rain up here, but we’ve hardly had any for months. Plus we had a hot summer. Also very unusual! Xxx
It's fall in Central Indiana. Tonight's low is upper 30's so all my pots are in the garage and I've covered what I can't move. Praying we have a couple more weeks before we get a killing frost.
Here in Northern Illinois we are celebrating temps in the 70s & 60s during the day and 50s & 40s in the night. Our humming birds have now gone south. The farmers are working long hours in their soy bean fields..soon the corn will be harvested (a fun process to watch!).
It's great to have you back Linda! We have freezing temps in the forecast in NC mtns, just as my dahlias are starting to pop!.. I hope your temps start to cool soon!
This is my favorite space in your garden. I'm loving the after. We didn't use our backyard too much this summer either. I was way too hot and too windy to use the fire pit. Looking forward to spending time in our pebbled patio area and maybe watch a movie or two before it gets too cold. Also spreading pumkins and mums around 😊
The drought continues and my plants are so limp and are struggling. So, paring back on more planting and will focus on pruning. The Monarch Butterflies have visited though, so happy somethings are on schedule for early autumn.
Raining the fourth consecutive day, temperatures in the fifties now with nighttime frosts here in NW lower Michigan. Working on bringing in the pelargoniums to overwinter, and getting some hardy mums planted. How you cope with the heat is beyond me...your yard is fabulous, as always. So inspiring.
Out here in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada... we are still in somewhat of a drought situation... our temps are mid 20's now (about 77F.)... so still very much summer weather... but no rain... the forecast says we will get rain, but then it doesn't appear... very dry... we are having some backyard reno's done at the moment, and the soil is so dry that we can't even get a good rootball on the plants we are moving!
We are in Manitoba and have just returned from a Vancouver Island trip, yes we sure noticed how dry you are! Here in Manitoba we had drought relief with a very wet spring ( some southern farms have no crop in due to flooding) so it was nice to return to green here. Sure hope you get fall rains! 🇨🇦
Here in Iowa, the cool weather has arrived…a high of 72 today with a low tonight of 43! Harvest is underway, but the trees for the most part have not colored up. Will try to push some of these cooler temps south!😉

I really like the combination in your pots, and the little forest is so charming, the garden is just lovely. I'm on shore in Maryland, our weather has been just glorious this month. I have 2 acres that me, myself and I look after, I get yard lazy around this time of yr, I only mow as far the eye can see from the rd. But I'm sure to keep the flowers looking beautiful, as far as the eye can see.
Zone 8b-Re the QOTD-No rain, still hot, except just this week the mornings are cool, 58-but-we still are getting up to over 90. Slowly but surely Fall IS coming.

Do not get the LG washer my sis had it and grows mold under the top portion and if you get the Samsung I took out the tray in back of washer so it’s less prone to having mildew... always had the old agitator washers but the Samsung is great I always keep the door part up so dries out better!! MaCenna, did you put a top to the hood large molding? The amazing trim like in the inspiration pic. I thought from the inspiration pic it was used as a shelf which is also amazing. So, is there some wood on the top of that molding/trim so you could use as a shelf also?

We had one day at 65 degrees last week here in Wichita, KS. Temps were back up this weekend though. I’ve started my fall cleanup… still have a lot to go….. and i need to put down a good layer of compost in a newer garden before it gets chilly. I’m hoping to do that this week. Sorry your washer quit. I don’t think appliances last like they used to. Your gardens still look pretty Linda! Don’t be to hard on them!

I am in southern California and the heat has come back. We will be back into the high 90's possibly 100. I have lost several new expensive plants this year. Rather frustrated. Others look horrible. Your garden looks great compared to mine. We also love to ride our trail horses and it has been miserable to ride later than 9:00am. We have had to get up at 5:00 to have any joy. UGH.
Zone 8 in Wilmington, NC. Temperatures have finally dropped some and I am gradually moving plants back into place from the shaded areas. We are watching the weather with the possibility of a hurricane on Friday.
The heat has gone here in Flanders ... finally we have regulary rain ... lot of rain ...( basement was under water) As its getting colder ... I can start planting spring bulbs ... Everything is looking lovely! 🌳🌳🌳. I have also been clearing and cleaning out annuals and perennials. Looks so nice tidied up. 🌼🌾🌻☀️ Our nights have cooled to 7-10 degrees Celsius and today was 25 degrees Celsius. Very nice and warm.

My favorite are the two arrangements in the raised iron plant stands. These are one of the prettiest combinations I have ever seen.

The celosia is a perfect Halloween plant. Those blooms look like monster fingers with purple fingernails 😁 Everything is looking beautiful!

In New Jersey it has cooled down and it feels like fall. We have had recent rains. so our gardens are happy as are the farmers..Loving this weather...

Our temp today was 79° at 5pm, w/nice breeze, and a whopping 22% humidity!! I have never seen it this low; what a relief. 7b, W. TN.

Washing Machine? I had a Speed Queen for 15 years. Had to replace it with another front loader: an LG. Worth every penny.
Here in GA zone 8 the heat has finally broke!!!!! 76* today from 90* last Wed!!!! Crazy weather but love it now!
